TENSION ADJUSTMENT
The assembly of your cross trainer is complete. If you wish, you can put the plastic protector caps to the exposed nut ends.
When using the machine for the first time, you must adjust the tension to a desirable level before beginning your workout. To adjust the tension, simply use the tension knob. When turning the adjustment knob, you can change the level of tension and vary the intensity of your workout whilst you are working out. For more adjustments, you can loosen or tighten the friction belt by re- strapping it. First, turn the tension knob to the loosest setting. Then re- strap on the belt on the main frame, just beneath the flat beam at the top center. The more length you allow for the friction belt to wrap around the wheel, the less friction it will produce (less tension). Re-adjust the tension knob after completing the readjustment of the straps.
REVERSIBLE MOVEMENT
Remember, your cross trainer has a REVERSIBLE MOVEMENT!
Forward pedaling exercises the quadriceps (the front thigh muscles), while
backward pedaling needs your hamstring (the back thigh muscles).
Take advantage of it to make your workout less tiring and more fun.
BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT
ADJUSTMENTS
LEVELING THE BICYCLE: You must get off the cross trainer to proceed with
the leveling of the product. Turn the levelers until the instability is
suppressed.
ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE EXTERIOR HANDLEBAR: To adjust the height of
the handlebar, turn the adjustment thread to loosen it, move the handlebar
until you reach the desired height, and turn the adjustment knob again in the
opposite direction to fix the position.
ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE SEAT: A good seat adjustment will reduce the
risk of injury and ensure good efficiency and comfort during exercise. The
best position is when one pedal is down and the other knee is slightly bent.
To adjust the height of the seat, turn the adjusting knob to loosen it, move
the seat until you find the desired height, and turn the adjusting knob again
in the opposite direction to fix the position.
WARMING UP EXERCISES
A successful workout program consists of warming up exercises, and aerobic and
relaxation exercises. Warm-up is an essential part of the training you should
perform each time you start a physical activity as you prepare the body before
a workout; warming and stretching the muscles, increasing the pulsations and
circulation, and sending more oxygen to the muscles. When you finish the
workout, repeat these exercises to avoid muscle pain. We suggest the following
warming up and relaxation exercises:
STRETCHING INTERNAL MUSCLES
Sit and put together the soles of your feet by pointing your knees in opposite
directions. Pull your feet as close as you can to the groin and slowly press
the knees to the floor. Count to 15.
STRETCHING YOUR HAMSTRINGS
Sit with your right leg extended. Place the sole of your other foot on the
inside of your right leg, get as close as you can to the tip of your foot.
Count to 15. Relax and repeat with the left leg extended.
ROTATE YOUR NECK
Rotate your head to the right feeling the left side stretch. Then, pull your
head back pointing your chin towards the ceiling leaving your mouth open.
Rotate your head to the left and finally aim your chin
RAISE YOUR SHOULDERS
Raise your right shoulder pointing towards your ear. Do the same with your
left shoulder.
STRETCH YOUR CALVES
Tilt your body towards the wall with both hands on it. Place the right foot
further ahead than the left one. Keep your left leg straight and stretch it.
Hold for a few minutes and repeat for the other side counting to 15.
TILT TO ONE SIDE
Place your arms on either side of your body. Lift them up and stretch your
right arm towards the ceiling. Feel that you stretch. Repeat the action with
the right arm.
TOUCH THE TIP OF YOUR FEET
Lean forward and relax your back and shoulders. Stretch your hands towards the
tips of your feet. Try to get as close as you can to your feet, and count to
15.

BATTERIES:
This monitor needs 2 “AA” batteries or 1.5V UM-3. Change the 2 batteries at
the same time.
WORKOUT
Users with a lack of practice should start the workout at low resistance,
without forcing their bodies and taking breaks as needed. Gradually increase
the frequency and duration of sessions. Ventilate well the room where you are
doing your workout.
MAINTENANCE AND WARM-UP: LITTLE EFFORT FOR AT LEAST 10 MINUTES
To perform maintenance or re-education workout, train for at least 10 minutes
every day. This type of exercise allows the muscles and joints to work
smoothly and can be used as a warm-up before performing more intense physical
activity. To increase the toning of your legs, choose a greater slope and
increase the exercise time.
AEROBIC TRAINING TO LOSE WEIGHT: INTENSE EFFORT BETWEEN 35 AND 60 MINUTES
This type of training allows you to burn calories efficiently. It is useless
for you to push yourself above your limits; the frequency (at least 3 times a
week) and the duration of the sessions (between 35 and 60 minutes) are the
factors that will allow obtaining your best results. Workout at a medium speed
(moderate effort without panting). To lose weight, in addition to practicing
regular physical activity, it is essential to follow a balanced diet.
AEROBIC RESISTANCE TRAINING: INTENSE EFFORT BETWEEN 20 AND 40 MINUTES
This type of training allows you to strengthen the heart muscle and improve
your respiratory system. Exercise at least 3 times a week at a sustained rate
(rapid breathing). As you train, the intense effort can be maintained more and
more time and at a better place. Training at a more forced rhythm (anaerobic
work and work in the red zone) is reserved for athletes because it requires
adapted training.
BACK TO CALM
Walk for a few minutes at low speed after each workout to bring the organism
progressively to the resting state. This phase of return to calm guarantees
the return to the normal state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems,
blood flow, and muscles. This allows eliminating the negative effects, such as
lactic acids, whose accumulation is one of the
main causes of muscular pains (cramps and muscle spasms).
STRETCHING
Stretching after performing a physical activity allows you to minimize muscle
stiffness by the accumulation of lactic acids and it also stimulates blood
circulation.
MAINTENANCE
The cross trainer is adjusted and lubricated at the factory. It is not recommended that users try to perform any operation on the internal components, for this type of operation, please contact an authorized service center. However, from time to time the exterior surfaces may appear dirty; in order to preserve them in their original condition, follow the cleaning instructions in this user manual.
- Metal surfaces should be cleaned with soft cotton or a cloth with a little car wax. Do not use sprays or pumps because they will leave traces of wax on the surface of the screen.
- From time to time, the screen surface will have finger or dust marks. The use of strong chemicals will damage its protective layer and create static energy that will damage the components. This surface must be cleaned with special chemical preparations that are sold in computer stores and are special for antistatic surfaces. We recommend the use of these products.
- Keep the bicycle, especially the console screen, away from direct sunlight to prevent damage.
- The safety of the equipment is maintained if its condition, tear, and wear are regularly checked.
- The bicycle must be moved and transported with care to avoid injury.
- The part of the brake is the one that wears out most easily. Before using the bicycle check that the brake system works well.
- Check that the fastening elements are securely tightened.
- Carefully inspect the parts that are most likely to wear.
- Replace defective parts immediately.
- Keep the appliance out of service until it is repaired.
- Please check that all safety labels are in good condition and can be read. If there are some missing or damaged labels, contact your distributor to request new ones.
