This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.
This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.
Always store this information with the product for use in the future.

Intended use
The Nedis KACM300FBK is a coffee machine with a 0.42 L travel mug.
The product is intended for indoor use only.
The product is not intended for professional use.
This product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

WARNING
- Only use the product as described in this manual.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.

- Disconnect the product from the electrical outlet and other equipment if problems occur.

- Keep the product away from heat sources. Do not place the product on hot surfaces or near open flames.
- Do not remove the top lid while the brewing cycle is in progress.
- Do not cover the product.
- Do not use solvents to clean the product.
- Use distilled or clean tap water to fill the tank.
- Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not place any objects on the product.
- Do not move the product during operation.
- Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.

Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Before first use
Clean the mug A10 , mug lid A 9, the filter A 6 and the funnel A 7 with soap and rinse with water.
When you first use this product, perform two full brewing cycles without coffee to clean the inside of the product.
Use
Brewing coffee
This coffee maker comes with a reusable filter.
- A paper filter is not required.
1. Open the top lid A 1.
2. Put 3 tablespoons of finely ground coffee or 4 tablespoons of regular ground coffee into A 6.
3. Distribute the ground coffee evenly.
4. Place A 6 into A 7.
5. Place A 6, A 7 into the brewing chamber A 8.
6. Fill the water tank A 2 with clean water.
7. Close A 1.
8. Place A10 under the coffee spout A 3.
9. Plug the power cable A 5 into the power outlet.
- Wait for 30 seconds after plugging in the power cable before switching on the product.
10. Switch the power switch A11 to I.
11. Press the start button A 4 to start the brewing cycle.
- A 4 lights up during the brewing cycle.
- Do not remove the top lid A 1 while the brewing cycle is in progress.
12. Wait a few minutes after the brewing cycle has finished to allow all the coffee to drip into the mug.
13. Allow the product to cool down.
14. Take A 6 from A 8.
15. Discard the used ground coffee.
16. Enjoy your coffee.
- Pressing A 4 does not cancel the brewing cycle once it has started. Unplug A 5 to interrupt a brewing cycle.
Maintenance
Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power. Let the product cool down for 10 minutes.
- Clean the product after every use.
Cleaning the parts
1. Only A 7, A9, A10 can be cleaned in water or dishwasher when removed from the product.
2. Wash A 6 in hot water with soap.
Cleaning the housing
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Do not open the product.
Descaling the product
- Remove limescale every month.
1. Fill A10 with 1 part of white vinegar and 3 parts of water.
2. Pour A10 into A 2.
3. Close A 1.
4. Place A10 under A 3.
5. Plug A 5 into the power outlet.
6. Switch A11 to I.
7. Press A 4 to start the brewing cycle.
- While cleaning, more hot steam occurs than normal brewing cycles.
8. When the water stops dripping into A10 allow the product to cool down for 3 minutes.
9. Remove, rinse and place back A 6.
10. Repeat this process one more time.
11. Rinse the product and run a brewing cycle with only water.
12. Allow the product to cool down.
13. Wash and rinse A 6, A7, A10.
