Introduction
The S9c Pro, as aune’s new generation of DAC with headphone amp that took 2 years to develop, has the features of full clock synchronization, the 2nd gen of ultra-low-jitter PLL core, the 10M clock input, the specially designed tuning modes with our own algorithm, Dual-ES9068, and the fully-discrete headphone amp whose output power is as high as 5W. It stands out in every way.

Operations
About Volume
- The volume levels of the headphone out and the line out (variable) are separated.
- Please adjust the volume of each respectively.
As a Standalone USB DAC
- Download the custom USB driver here: http://en.auneaudio.com/index.php?s=/Home/Article/lists/category/72.html Install the driver.
- Use a USB cable to connect the S9c Pro to a computer
- S9c Pro LINE OUT → with a pair of RCA/XLR cables → amplifier/active speakers LINE IN
- Set output of the S9c Pro to LINE OUT
- Play music and adjust volume on the S9c Pro or on the amplifier/active speakers.
To Pair with a Digital Transport/Player
- Digital transport/player COAX/AES/OPT OUTPUT → with a corresponding cable → S9c Pro COAX/AES/OPT INPUT
- S9c Pro RCA/XLR LINE OUT → with a pair of corresponding cables → amplifier/active speakers RCA/XLR LINE IN
- Set output of the S9c Pro to LINE OUT
- Play music and adjust volume on the S9c Pro or on the amplifier/active speakers
As a DAC with Headphone Amp
For input please refer to the previous two pages. Output:
- Plug a pair of headphones into the corresponding headphone jack (6.35/4.4/XLR)
- Set output of the S9c Pro to HEADPHONE OUT
- Play music and adjust volume on the S9c Pro (Please set volume to a low level before putting on the headphones)
External Clock Input
- Use a BNC clock cable to connect a 10M external clock (e.g. aune SC1) to the S9c Pro
- Wait until the SC1 warm-up finishes
- SC1 warmed up, and the clock icon will show on the S9c Pro screen
- Refer to the previous pages for music playback
Bluetooth (Bluetooth Edition Only)
- Turn on Bluetooth on the smartphone/computer/player, search for“ aune S9c”, connect
- Change input to Bluetooth on the S9c Pro, and the“ BT” icon will show on the screen
- Connect active speakers/amplifier/headphones to the S9c Pro, and double press the knob to change output
- Play music from the connected smartphone/computer/player and adjust volume on the S9c Pro (Please set volume to a low level before putting on the headphones)
