DESCRIPTION

USE

  1. Insert the battery in the battery compartment (2). Make sure that + is pointing up.
  2. Press the power switch.
  3. Select the unit of measurement: mm/tum (7).
  4. Apply (5) on a flat surface and press down the bar (1).
  5. Reset (3).
  6. Apply (5) against the tire. Hold it firmly and press the tip (6) into the tread.
  7. Check the reading.
  8. Switch off (4).

MAINTENANCE

  • Keep the bar clean.
  • Make sure that there is no dirt, water, or oil on the bar.
  • Remove the battery if the tire tread gauge is not going to be used again for a while.
  • The display starts flashing when it’s time to change the battery.
  • If the display shows an error, remove the battery and replace it after 30 seconds.
