This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.
This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Intended use
The Nedis HTPA20EBK is a convection heater with 2 temperature settings.
This product is not intended for professional use.
The protective cover of this product is intended to prevent direct access to heating elements and must be in place when the heater is in use.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

WARNING
- Ensure you have fully read and understood the instructions in this document before you install or use the product. Keep the packaging and this document for future reference.
- Only use the heater indoors or outdoors under roofed areas.
- If used outdoors, protect the heater against weather influences.
- Only use the product as described in this document.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- Do not use the product where splashing of water might occur, e.g. bathroom, swimming pool or close to a washbowl.
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- Do not open the product.
- Keep the product out of reach from children, infirm persons or animals.
- Children and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience may not use the product without supervision.
- Do not use the product when the cable or plug is damaged.
- Keep hands and utensils out of the protective cover to reduce the risk of severe injury to people or the product.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
- Make sure that the function dial is in the OFF position before disconnecting the product.
- Make sure that the voltage of your power outlet matches the voltage required by the product.
- Keep the product away from flammable objects such as furniture, curtains and similar.
- Do not use a damaged product.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the product provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the product or perform user maintenance.
- Do not cover the product.
- This heater is not equipped with a thermostat to control the room temperature. Don’t use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
- Do not splash water onto the product.
- Do not use external timers or remote control systems to switch the product on or off.
- Never touch the protective cover, this may cause burns or severe injury.
- Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.
- Do not let water enter the product.
- Do not place the product on moving vehicles or somewhere easy to be tipped over.
- Do not move the product during operation.
- Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Using an extension cord is not recommended. If an extension cord is inevitable, use one which exceeds the power rating of the heater, is as short as possible and fully extended to prevent overheating.
- Unplug the power cable when the product is not in use for a long time.
- Do not locate the product immediately below a power outlet.
- Unplug the product from the power source and other equipment if problems occur.
- Do not unplug the product by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
- Do not use the product in rooms where flammable liquids or gases are used or stored.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.

Installation
- Check the contents of the package
- Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Installing the product
- Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
- Do not place the product within 1m of any object, wall or ceiling.
Use
Using the product
Make sure the function dial A7 is switched to the off position before plugging the power cable A5 into a power outlet.
1. Plug the power cable A5 into a power outlet.
The product has three operation modes.

2. Turn A7 to switch between modes.
- When you set A7 to the oscillation setting, the fan oscillates on the base stand A4.
- The heater is fitted with a tilt sensor. This sensor is a safety precaution that switches off the heater in case it has fallen over.
Switching off the product
1. Set A7 to 0 to switch off the heater.
2. Unplug A5 from the power outlet.
- Allow the product to cool down before storage.

Maintenance
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power. Let the product cool down completely.
- Do not splash water onto the product.
- Do not let water enter the product.
- Do not clean the inside of the product.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with brush nozzle to remove dust from the protective cover.
Warranty
- Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
- This product is designed for private use (normal domestic use) only. Nedis is not responsible for wear, defect and/or damages caused by commercial use of the product.
