DESCRIPTION AND USES
Rust-Oleum ® Clear Acrylic Roof Sealant is a multi-purpose acrylic sealant designed for sealing roofs, walls, trim, doors, and windows. It is ideal for residential and commercial sealant applications. This water-based, the environmentally friendly formula has little odor and is easy to tool. It is nonyellowing and creates a clear seal that remains flexible and can be painted.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound, and free from dirt, grease, oil,
mold, algae, loose granules, loose gravel, loose paint, rust, excess chalk,
and other foreign matter which
could prevent proper adhesion. Wire brush all rusted metal and prime with
Rust-Oleum Universal Roof Primer.
WARNING! If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead
dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS
BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID
EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-Approved respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up
carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. Before you start, find out how to

APPLICATION
For exterior use only.
Apply only when air, material, and surface temperatures are between 40-100ºF
(4-38ºC) and the relative humidity is below 85%.
Place the cartridge in a cradle-type caulking gun. Cut tip and puncture seal
in the spout. Squeeze the trigger slowly. Apply ¼-½” a bead of sealant to
areas that are to be sealed. Use a backer rod for deep joints.
COVERAGE
Will cover approximately 25 linear feet. Actual coverage will vary depending
on the application method.
DRY & RECOAT TIMES
Dry and recoat times are based on 70ºF and 50% relative humidity. Allow drying
at least 4-8 hours for thorough drying. The product will reach full cure in 24
hours. Environmental or site-specific conditions may lead to a variation in
dry time.
CLEAN-UP
Clean up wet products with water. Wash tools and equipment with soap and
water. Properly dispose of all soiled rags and containers.
LIMITATIONS
Do not store above 90ºF (32ºC). DO NOT apply if rain is expected within 48
hours of application.
