Identification
4.1 Product description and type designation
This housing is suitable for a variety of cameras (1/2”, 1/3”, and 1/4”)
equipped with a wide range of lenses. Constructed from extruded and die-cast
aluminum. Its weatherproof feature is ensured by the EPDM rubber gaskets and
by 3 cable glands. The use of the cable management bracket gives total vandal-
proof protection to the power and video cables. A wide range of accessories is
available: sunshield, normal and fan-assisted heater, blower and camera power
supply. Further, it is also possible to install a blower with an air filter
replacing one cable gland. The accessories are supplied factory installed or
as a simple upgrade kit.
4.2 Product markings
See the label attached to the outside of the package.

5.2 Safely disposing of packaging material
The packaging material can all be recycled. The installer technician will be
responsible for separating the material for disposal, and in any case for
compliance with the legislation in force where the device is to be used.
Bear in mind that if the material has to be returned due to a fault, using the
original packaging for its transport is strongly recommended.
Assembling and installing
** Only specialized personnel should be allowed to assemble and install the
device.
6.1 Installation
Turn off the power before performing any kind of operation.
6.1.1 How to open the housing**
To open the housing, unscrew the two screws placed on the side in the middle
of the rear cover plate (01), take the body out (02), hang it onto the
suitable holder (Fig. 02, page 4) and leave the internal and external slide in
the working position. Before closing the housing take off the protective nylon
and put silicagel salts envelope into.
6.1.2 How to install the camera
This chapter describes how to install the camera into the housing. We wish to
remind our customers that power supply can be drawn from the circuit, if
available, after checking that the right supply voltage is used.
Remove the body by unscrewing the 2 screws placed on the rear cover plate.
Remove the screw of the internal slide opposite the side with earth
connection, in order to have access to the lower part of the slide.
Fix the camera by interposing the insulating washer between the 1/4” screw and
the lower part of the slide; set the insulating spacer (01) between the camera
and insulating spacer (02) in the upper part of the slide, tighten the 1/4”
screw and position the camera wherever wished.
Fig. 03
If necessary use the spacers for proper positioning of the camera and of the
zoom lenses.
Make the necessary electrical connections:
• Version 230Vac – When the power supply voltage is 230Vac the circuit will be
connected by the terminals shown in the diagram.
Version 12Vdc/24Vac – When the power supply voltage is 24Vac the circuit
will be connected by the terminals shown in the diagram.
Fig. 05
Reset the slide in the working position and close the housing.
6.1.3 How to install the heater
The power input of the heater kit can be 12Vdc/24Vac or 115/230Vac. A blower
can be installed only if fed with 12Vdc/24Vac.
6.1.4 How to install the blower
The power input of the blower kit can be 12Vdc, 24Vac or 230Vac. The blower
kit cannot be mounted with a camera power supply.
6.1.5 How to install the camera power supply
The optional power supply cannot be mounted together with the optional blower.
Usable power supplies:
- IN from 100Vac up to 240Vac, 50/60Hz – OUT 12Vdc, 1.25A
- IN 230Vac, 50Hz – OUT 24Vac, 50Hz, 400mA

Maintaining and cleaning
7.1 Window and plastic cover cleaning (PC)
We suggest using neutral soap diluted with water or specific products for lens
cleaning applied with a soft cloth.
Avoid ethyl alcohol, solvents, hydrogenated hydrocarbons, strong acid, and
alkali. Such products may irreparably damage the surface.
