The KMINA – PRO Commode Toilet Chair is designed to improve the daily hygiene of people with reduced mobility and to do this task as easy as possible, for both the user and the assistant. The chair can be used for bath and shower. Save these instructions for future reference. This chair is in compliance with the EU Regulation 2017/745 on medical devices.
ASSEMBLY
- Actuate the brake by lifting the lock rocker as in Image 1. This prevents the frame from moving during assembly. To unblock the brake, treading the lever as in Image 1, when all assembly is finished.
- Unscrew both locking screws on the frame and push the backrest tubes into it as in Image 2. Retighten the locking screws and after that flap the armrests, moving them downwards, into position for use.
- Take the seat with hygiene cutout and push it with the recess in the rear crossbar of the frame and once positioned firmly press the seat into the frame down until it is fixed. Make sure the clips on the bottom of the seat fit completely into the frame.
- To attach the legrests, hook them into the tube (1) and swiwel them forwards (2) as in Picture 4. You can use the legrest lock lever to lock and unlock it so that the legrests can be left open to leave the chair. They can also be easily removed and put on.
- To adjust the height of the legrest, unscrew the connection at the rear side of the legrest tube (1) as in Picture 5, set the correct height of the foot plate (2) and retighten the screws (3).
IMPORTANT: The adjustment is correct if the user’s legs form 45º when placing the feet. You can raise the foot plate of the legrests if you wish to leave the chair and fold back easily.
USING WITH A BUCKET
Before using:
- Actuate the locking brakes and remove the hygiene cutout.
- Place the bucket without lid, under the seat.
- Push the hub from behind until it locks.
After using:
- Pull out to the rear to empty.
- Place lid on.
- After emptying, clean as described
(Cleaning and Care).
USING WITH A CONVENCIONAL WC
Before use, check that the height of your toilet is less than the maximum height allowed (17”).
- Pull out the bucket from the rear.
- Remove the hygiene cutout.
- Flap open the lid of the WC.
- Move across the WC and actuate the locking brakes.
USING IN THE SHOWER
- Actuate the locking brakes.
- Remove the toilet bucket and pull out to the rear.
- Remove the hygiene cutout for easier personal care and cleaning.
IMPORTANT: Do not place the bucket while the user is still sitting in the chair.

WARNINGS
- Any serious incident related to the product must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and patient are established.
Checks before use:
- Please check that all parts are connected, have been properly tightened and that the brakes work.
- Check that the seat is secure.
- You must not use the Commode Toilet Chair to transport multiple people or loads. Observe the appropriate uses.
- Make sure all parts are secure and moving parts are working properly. IF you find signs of wear or damage on your chair, DO NOT USE IT.
- Do not exceed the maximum user weight: 265 lb.
During use:
- All wheels must be in contact with the ground at all times and on a flat, smooth surface. Use ramps to cross any obstacle.
- The Commode Toilet Chair is designed for indoor use, bathrooms and showers.
- Be careful if your arms flap as clothing or body parts can get caught in the armrests.
- Do not get up on the legrests to get in or out of the chair, or in a stationary position.
- Do not allow babies, small children and people who do not understand the operation to use this product by themselves.
- The brakes must be in the locked position before the uses explained above, including in the stationary position. Be aware that the risk of tipping may increase in the case of weight change when moving your body. If the locking brake is damaged or unusable, the chair must not be used.
WARRANTY INFORMATION

KMINA guarantees that this Commode Toilet Chair is free from defects. The warranty will remain in effect for 3 years from the consumer’s original purchase date. The warranty does not extend to parts subject to natural wear and tear that require periodic replacement, such as brakes, wheels, or upholstery. The warranty does not cover:
– Spare parts supplied by anyone other than KMINA or the authorized dealer.
– Any failure of the unit during the warranty period that is not caused by a defect in material or workmanship or if the failure is caused by misuse.
– KMINA is not responsible for accidental damage or property damage. -
In case of return, pack the chair properly, preferably in its original packaging, otherwise KMINA will not be responsible for possible damage caused during shipping.
CLEANING AND CARE
- Clean and disinfect the Commode Toilet Chair and toilet or bucket after each use with running water and conventional disinfectants.
- The parts of the frame and upholstery can be cleaned with a damp cloth. In the case of the wheels also, included a plastic brush (do not use wire brushes!).
