ROVUS MI-H21-1032 Personal Cooler

Please read this manual thoroughly before using and save it for future reference

WARNINGS

  1. Do not carry the device when filled with water. Some water may remain in unit even
    if tank is empty.

  2. Use only clean tap water, distilled water is recommended.

  3. This device should never operate empty/unloaded (except during drying for storage), because such action could result in appliance failure and/or injuries to the user.

  4. Before not using the device for extended periods of time, empty the water tank, turn unit on, and set to highest fan speed (without moisturizing) for at least 4 hours. This will dry out the filter and inside of your unit.

  5. Regularly remove blockages caused by dust, fluff, hair etc. because they greatly reduce device’s suction power and/or general performance.

  6. This device is intended for household, indoor and dry environment use only.

  7. Do not place in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

  8. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.

  9. Do not touch the power supply or power cable with wet hands.

  10. Unplug the device when cleaning, removing/replacing filter, or moving the device.

  11. For best results, place the device on a higher surface like a table or countertop. Make sure to place the product on hard, flat, stable, dry and water resistance surface.

  12. Do not place the device near a heater or any electrical equipment.

  13. Do not place the device in passageways or high traffic areas where there is a possibility of tripping or knocking it over.

  14. Do not allow any foreign objects inside the device.

  15. Do not place items on top of the device.

  16. Do not block device’s air intake or outlet.

  17. Do not turn the device upside down.

  18. Do not submerge the device under water or other liquids.

  19. Do not place the device near open flames or fire sources.

  20. This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and user 6 maintenance should not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

  21. Keep the device and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old.

  22. Do not attempt any modification or repair by yourself and ensure that any repair is conducted only by appropriately qualified technician.

  23. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by authorized and qualified person only.

  24. If the device is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, do not use it.

  25. This device should never be switched on or stay plugged in power supply when not in use, while replacing accessories or during cleaning.

  26. This device is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.

  27. Please refer to below paragraphs about details on cleaning, operating times and speed settings for accessories.

BEFORE USE
Remove all packaging and protective material from the product. Place the device on flat, dry, stable and water-resistant surface.

  • Step 1: Open filter drawer by pulling the filter drawer handle and lift out the filter (see PICTURES, Picture 2).
    NOTE: There is no need to pull out the filter drawer completely.

  • Step 2: For better effect, you can soak the filter in cold water first, then put it back in place and close the drawer.
    NOTE: After soaking, you can put the filter in the refrigerator to freeze.

  • Step 3: Pour the water through water inlet (see PICTURES, Picture 3).
    NOTE: For best results, use cold water or add ice.

  • Step 4: Plug in the USB power cable to adapter, USB interface or power bank (none included) to put the device in standby mode (dimmed light) (see PICTURES, Picture 4). Press the fan button to start using it (see PICTURES, Picture 5)

Buttons

Fan button:

  • Press the fan button to start the device at max fan speed and with moisturizing (see PICTURES, Picture 5). Keep pressing the fan button to alternate between three fan speeds, just ambient light and turn off. The moisturizing starts automatically upon each restart of the device.
  • Press and hold to turn the fan off at any time

Ambient light button:

  • Press the ambient light button to turn on the light. The light color changes with each press (seven fixed colors, alternating colors and no light.).
  • Double press the ambient light button to turn off/on the moisturizing and use the device only as a fan.
  • Press and hold to turn the ambient light off at any time, press again to turn it ON.

NOTES:
When full, the water container supply could last for at least 10 hours of use. However, due to environmental reasons device will stop emitting water after 3 hours of use. Stop and restart the device for further humidification.
Replacing the filter (see PICTURES, Picture 2):
The filter should be changed every 3-6 months, or when you feel the device is not performing as it should be.

  • Step 1: Unplug the device from the power supply.
  • Step 2: Use the filter handle to pull out the moisturizer drawer.
  • Step 3: Grab onto filter and gently lift it out.
  • Step 4: Place new filter in the device.
  • Step 5: Close the filter drawer

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To maintain the best condition, it is recommended to clean the device after every use and replace the filter every 3-6 months.

  • Step 1: Turn off and unplug the device from the power supply.
  • Step 2: Use up the water in the water container or pour it out carefully before cleaning.
  • Step 3: If the water container is dirty, use a clean cloth or small brush (such as a toothbrush or bottlebrush, not included) to carefully clean it. Rinse it with water (see PICTURES, Picture 6).
  • Step 4: Open the filter drawer and carefully squeeze it from sides to make it able to slide it out of the main device (see PICTURES, Picture 7).
  • Step 5: Lift the filter from the drawer and gently wipe the drawer and main device with clean cloth (could be slightly damped with citric acid or mild detergent).
  • Step 6: Filter simply place under the tap and rinse it directly with running water. No need for hot water, soap or cleaning in dishwasher.
  • Step 7: When done, dry all the parts thoroughly and reassemble.

NOTES:

  • Store only thoroughly clean and dry device in a non-freezing places without direct sunlight.
  • If you see mold on any part of device or notice any odors, immediately stop using and clean the device. Replace the filter
