WARNINGS

This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Children must be supervised not to play with this appliance.
This device is intended for household, indoor and dry use only.
Before use, place the product on hard, flat, stable, dry and water-resistant surface and make sure to remove all packaging material around and inside the device’s water container.
If the device is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, do not use it.
Do not attempt any modification or repair by yourself and ensure that any repair is conducted only by appropriately qualified technician.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by authorized and qualified person only.
Plug in power supply that corresponds to the rated one on product only.
This product is not intended to filter oil or grease from air.
This device should never be switched on or stay plugged in power supply when not in use, while replacing accessories or during cleaning.
This device should never operate if not fully assembled, because such action could result in appliance failure and/or injuries to the user.
Never look directly to UV light or/and never turn on device before it is fully assembled.
Always turn off the device before unplugging it from outlet.
This device is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
Do not place the power cable near a heated surface.
Never use the power cable to pick up, carry, drag, pull, or lift the device. Do not pull the power cable against or around sharp corners and edges. Use care when operating the device by keeping all foreign objects, fingers, body parts, hair, loose clothing and jewelry away from openings.
Regularly remove blockages caused by dust, fluff, hair etc. because they greatly reduce device’s suction power and/or general performance.
Never touch the device or its plug when your hands are wet.
Please refer to below paragraphs about details on cleaning, settings and accessories.
Although the product has been checked its usage and consequences are strictly user responsibility.

BEFORE USE

Step 1: Remove all packaging (including five secure tapes; one holding overflow lid)) from the product.
Step 2: Be sure the humidifier is turned OFF and disconnected from power supply.
Step 3: Place the product on a, flat, stable, dry and water resistant surface.
Step 4: Keep the device at least 10 cm away from the nearest vertical surface (wall, furniture etc.).
Step 5: Ensure that all air ways are unobstructed.
Step 6: Check the power cable and make sure it is not damaged.
Step 7: Gradually fill the water container with cool, clean, fresh water at the water inlet position straight through top cover (DO NOT remove it!). (see Picture 3).
NOTES:

Do not fill with warm/hot water as this may damage the unit.
Ensure the water level does not exceed the maximum mark.
In case the water will be filled over the maximum it will be released through overflow lid from the device in order to save the device and/or user from damage.

Step 8: Plug the power cable in power supply (“beep” sound).

USAGE

Press the power button to turn the device ON (“beep” sound) as display will lit up entering in standby mode.

Functions

| 1. Press to turn the device on (in continuous humidification mode, low fan speed and ambient lights on).
2. Press again to turn on (or off) high fan speed.
3. Press to turn on display (when it is in sleep mode).
4. Press and hold for 3 seconds (at any time) to turn the device off.

| 1. When active, this indicator displays the current air humidity.
2. When setting this indicator displays the possible target humidity settings.
| 1. When 3 lights are lit, this indicates that the fan speed is low.
2. When 6 lights are lit, this indicates that the fan speed is high.
| This indicator is lit when device is in automatic/target humidity mode.
| Indicator of humidity unit (percentage).
F| This indicator is lit when device is in continuous humidification mode.
| This indicator is lit when the device is connected to WIFI, and that it can be controlled remotely.
| 1. Press to go into target humidity setting.
2. Continue pressing to alternate between different target humidity (30-80 %) or choose continuous (F) humidification mode. Display will blink twice before entering in the selected mode and start alternating between target and current humidity before turning off (going into sleep mode).
NOTE: The device will not operate if current humidity is above (or has reached) the target humidity. However, display will continue to alternate between the target and current humidity and device will start automatically as soon as current humidity drops below the target humidity.
3. Press to turn on display (when it is in sleep mode).
4. Press and hold 5 seconds to re-start WIFI.

Adding water
NOTE: Before adding water, be sure to unplug the device from power supply.
Pour water through the water refill hole in top lid water injection port (see Picture 3).
NOTES:

The water volume shall not be higher than the marked maximum level.
Never pour water without the top and filter lids properly installed.
Do not add additives such as oil, perfume, medicine, etc. to the water

Application (app) connection
With the device turned on, hold humidity setting button for 5 seconds, (the WI-FI connectivity indicator starts blinking slowly), to put the device in WI- FI networking mode.
Open the Studio Moderna Home app, scan the QR code (see Picture 7), enter the networking mode, follow the APP instructions, and pair with the WIFI networking.
After the connection is successful, you can control the device through the app page.
Step 1: Download the “Studio Moderna HOME” application by scanning QR code (Picture 7) at the bottom of the device or search in Google play (for Android users) or App store (for iOS users).
Step 2: Open Studio Moderna Home app (see Picture 8)
Step 3: Click “Add Device” (see Picture 9).
Step 4: Adding the device (see Picture 10). You can add device using one of following options:
A) Click “Add Manually” and select the product
B) Click “Auto Scan” to scan QR code (Picture 11) and then click “Add” (Picture 12).
Step 5: Resetting the device: turn on the device and wait for 10 seconds before turning it off. After 10 seconds turn it on again (see Picture 13).
Step 6: Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds and click “Next” (see Picture 14)
Step 7: After confirming that the WI-FI connectivity indicator starts to blink quickly, click “Next” (see Picture 15).
Step 8: Long press the reset button for 5 seconds, after seeing the indicator light flashing slowly (see Picture 16).
Step 9: Tick (select) “Confirm that the indicator is blinking slowly” and go to “next” (see Picture 17).
Step 10: Select the WIFI network, enter the password and click “Next” (see Picture 18).
Step 11: Connect the mobile phone WIFI to the device’s hotspot (see Picture 19 & Picture 20).
Step 12: After the device is successfully connected, click “Done” and return to Home starting page (see Picture 21 & Picture 22).
Step 13: Studio Moderna Home starting page should appear allowing you to fully control the device (see Picture 23).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTES:

Before cleaning and maintenance, be sure to unplug the device from power supply.
Do not use corrosive or flammable cleaning agents (such as bleaching agent or alcohol) to clean any parts of the machine.
The scale and debris in the water tank and sink must be cleaned regularly. Rovus recommends weekly cleaning with Rovus descaler.
Do not squeeze or rub the water filter during cleaning. Doing so may damage it and affect the performance.
It is recommended to replace the water filter every 3 months.

Water tank cleaning
Outside the main unit/water tank can be wiped with soft damp cloth.
Inside the water tank can be cleaned with descaling agent or water. Rinse after cleaning.
NOTE: To drain the remaining water from the water tank, be careful not to empty it on the side of the overflow drain (see Picture 5).
Filter cleaning
Remove the top lid and unscrew (counter clockwise) the filter lid (see Picture 6).
Take out the filter from the water tank.
Soak the filter in water or Rovus descaler for about 1 hour.
Clean the filter with slow water flow under the faucet. Do not rub it.
Put the clean and fully dried filter into the water tank and reposition the top lid and filter lid (align and rotate it clockwise) (see Picture 6).
Air Filter replacement (see Picture 4)
NOTE: Do not overturn the device or empty it first to reach the air filter from bottom.
Open air filter lid by pressing its flap while pulling away (see Picture 4A and 4B).
Grab the air filter’s textile flap and pull it out (see Picture 4C).
Align/reposition air filter and air filter lid.
NOTE: It is suggested to replace air filter at least every 3 months.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Issue	Possible solution
Device does not function.	Make sure the humidifier is plugged in power

supply.
Make sure that the water tank is full of water and the humidifier cover has been correctly repositioned.
No air humidification.| Make sure that the water tank is full of water and the humidifier cover has been correctly repositioned.
The surrounding area is too big or/and too ventilated. Close the doors and windows.
Leaking water.| Ensure that the water in the device does not exceed the maximum water level.
Make sure that water is added through water refill hole and with filter lid installed only.
After using for a period of time filter turns yellow.| This is expected phenomena and will not affect the humidification performance of the product. Frequently clean the water filter to remove these stains. It is recommended to replace the water filter every 3 months.
Unpleasant smell is emitted| Make sure the water tank is filled with clean water.
Clean the water filter.
No visible mist coming out| This is totally normal as device is designed to humidify the surroundings without visible mist
Application issues| Connectivity or power issues. Please recheck them again
