User Manual
Preface
Congratulations on choosing the Mictrack MT531 4G GPS tracker. This manual
shows how to easily program and set up the tracker for the best results. Make
sure to read this manual carefully before using this product, so as to avoid
delays or confusion with it’s operation. Please note that specifications and
instructions are subject to change without notice to facilitate product
improvement. Updates and changes will be integrated into the latest release.
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any errors or omissions in
outdated documents.
Overview
The MT531 is the 4G GPS tracker, supporting 4G LTE/WCDMA/UMTS networks.
This device can be used locate, track and monitor any remote target via SMS,
PC Computer or Mobile APP. It is commonly used to track and locate individual
vehicles, motorbikes or boats,and is a valuable tool for enhanced fleet
management. The user also can remotely cut off Fuel /Ignition and check the
historical route traveled and other vehicle data.
The MT531 has an excellent track record for stable performance and possesses a
wide variety of features.

Installation
SIM Card installation
- Get ready with a Standard size SIM Card with 10-15MB of data a month.
- Open the waterproof rubber plug
- Insert Sim card (2FF) to sim card slot correctly
- Make the Power Button ON
- After that, the device will be ready.
Power ON
Make the Power button to ON, and the device will turn on.
Note:
- The device only supports a Standard Size SIM card (2FF).
- To remove the SIM card, use a paperclip to press the SIM card to eject the SIM card .

Install the Device
- Wiring connections (See below image)
- Connect the Relay (relay is optional)
The Yellow cable controls the fuel of the car and connects pin 86 of the relay which is a coil end. Pin 85 of the relay which is another coil end connects the fuel channel to supply 12V power (please note working volt of the relay is consistent with the working volt of the product). Pin 30 and Pin 87a are always closed ends and connect fuel channel power circuits in series. Please install the wire in the correct way. the supplier will not be responsible for device damage caused by the wrong installation.
When installing the device, please connect supplied wiring loom as follows: (or contact our sales team for help)
- Red: Connect to constant 12V Car Battery(+)
- Black: Connect to Earth (Chassis) Car battery(-)
- Orange: Connect to ACC switched 12V Power
Note: SOS, microphone and Relay are optional.
Setup and Configuration
Following a successful command, you should always receive a reply SMS from the
unit.
Be patient, as this may take some time depending if the unit is required to
reboot to process the command. Failure to reply will indicate either an
incorrect SMS Command or the unit has powered off, lost Cell Mobile signal, or
run out of SIM Card credit.
5.1 Setting Authorized Mobile Phone Numbers
Command: admin+password+Space+Phone Number
Example: admin123456 13424392330
Reply: admin ok
Note: The defaulted password is 123456.
5.2 Change the password
Command: password+old password+Space+new password
Example: password123456 000000
Reply: password OK
5.3 Set the preset phone number
Command: 101#phone number#
Example: 101#13424392330#
Reply: OK
5.4 Request the single position
Command: G1234
When sent this command to the device, it will reply to the location by using
Google Link.

5.5 Over-Speed alarm
Command : speed+password+space+speed value
Example: speed123456 080
Reply: speed ok
Disable Over-Speed Alarm

Note: Speed range is [0,255] KM/H
5.6 Phone Alarm for a shake
Disable phone alarm for shake: 121#
Reply: OK
Enable phone alarm for shake: 122#
Reply: OK
5.7 SMS Alarm for a shake
Disable SMS alarm for shake: 126#
Reply: OK
Enable SMS alarm for shake: 125#
Reply: OK
5.8 Set APN (Access Point Name)
Command: APN+password+space+apn
Example: apn123456 cement
Unit Reply: APN OK.
Note: please contact your SIM Card provider to get the correct APN details
5.9 Sleep interval
Command: sleep,password,interval
Example: sleep,123456,30
Unit Reply: OK.
5.10 Set Server IP and PORT
Command : IP+ space+ IP address+ space+ port number
Example:IP 113.98.254.180 8185
Reply: SET OK.
5.11 Set timezone
Command : zone+password+ space+Timezone
Example:zone123456 E08
Reply: OK.
5.12 SOS Alarm
When pressing the SOS button for more than 3 seconds, it will send the
location to an authorized phone number, the information state included “STATE:
SOS”
5.13 Sleep mode
When the vehicle ignition is off and the devices stop for 2 minutes it will go
to sleep mode.
5.14 Low Battery Alarm
While device detects the internal battery is low power, it will send
coordinated SMS with
STATE: LOW POWER
5.15 Cut Off Oil Alarm
While the 12V power is disconnected, it will send the location to the server
5.16 Phone Tracking
Any phone can call the tracker and the tracker will hang off the phone
automatically, then send a position message to the sender, if GPS not work,
the tracker will send an invalid message to the sender, and the tracker will
send a valid position message to the sender again once GPS work normally by
automatically.
5.17 Heartbeat report interval
Command for set heartbeat time: interval, password, X
Example: interval,123456,600
Reply: OK
Note: .the unit of X is L second, the max time is 65535 seconds
5.18 ACC Illegal Start Alarm
Enable ACC Illegal SMS Alarm: access, password,1
Example: access,123456,1
Reply: acc SMS alarm set ok
Disable ACC Illegal SMS Alarm: access, password,0

PC Tracking platform
6.1 App install & Login
- Search “not tracking” in Google Play or iOS store(or scan the following QR code) to download the Mobile APP;
- Choose the” Login by ID;
- Input your device’s ID number and password(default is 123456) to log in.
PC login
- Web: www.yoursgps.com
- Choose “ID No.”
- Input your device’s ID number and password(default is 123456)
Troubleshooting
Issues | Caused | Solutions |
---|
Send SMS to the
device but no reply| 1>Data only SIM card and don’t supported SMS service,
2>New SIM cards have no active
3>Card balance is not enough| Please check the SIM card status and make sure
it can work.
Command is wrong| Please check the command format again
Password is wrong| Please check the password again (the default is 0000)
Connect network fail.| Please check RED LED and only send the SMS command when
it is blinking.
Can not power on| The backup battery is low voltage| Please connect to the
car’s OBD
Port and make engine ON
GPS platform shows
logged off| | 1. Check the APN setting ;
2. Check IP and port
The device Can not online on the server| The device ID is wrong| Please check
the ID
The device has not active on the server| Please contact your sales to active
your device’s ID
The IP and port setup wrong| Check the IP and port again
APN setup error| Check the APN settings again
