COMPATIBILITY CHECK:
The BALDR IR can be used on most Glock or Picatinny (mil-std-1913) type rails. The Glock adapter labelled “GL” is already installed
(compatible with most Glock handguns) and a Picatinny (mil-std-1913) adapter is included in the packaging. For Picatinny (mil-std-1913) rails, the user needs to replace the “GL” adapter with the included 1913 adapter using the screws and wrench provided in the package.

IR BEAM CALIBRATION:
Use the included hex wrench to rotate the adjustment screw underneath or on the side of the IR beam emitter to calibrate the vertical or horizontal angle of the IR beam, and finally sight in the beam for accurate use.

NOTE: A backup set of NYLOK adjustable screws is included.

HOW TO OPERATE

  • CONSTANT ON/OFF: When the mode switch is not positioned to OFF, single-click either side of the tail switch for constant on. Click either side of the tail switch again to turn it off.
  • MOMENTARY ON/OFF: When the mode switch is not positioned to OFF, press and hold either side of the tail switch for momentary on. Release the switch and the light will go off.
  • MODE SELECTION: Select WH (white light only), OFF, or IR (infrared ray beam only) by rotating the mode switch underneath the light to the desired position.

WHEN THE MODE SWITCH IS POSITIONED TO WH, THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE EFFECTIVE:

  • CHANGE BRIGHTNESS: When the light is on, quickly click either side of the tail switch twice to change between high white light and low white light. When the light is turned on again, it will return to the previously used brightness level.
  • HIGH WHITE LIGHT: When the light is off, quickly click either side of the tail switch twice to access high white light directly.
  • STROBE: Press both sides of the tail switch and release to activate strobe. Click either side of the tail switch to turn it off.

When the mode switch is positioned to OFF, all operations are disabled.
When the mode switch is positioned to IR, the on/off of the IR beam will be signaled by the on/off of a dedicated indicator behind the mode switch.

DANGER

  • DO NOT shine the light directly into human eyes. This may cause temporary blindness, or permanent damage to the eyes.
  • DO NOT cover the light’s head or stand the light on its head when it is on. The heat built-up may damage the product itself, cause close objects to burn, or even result in unexpected disasters.
  • DO NOT use non-protected rechargeable lithium batteries. This may result in battery damage or even unexpected disasters.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • After being on for a long time, the surface of the light may reach 50°C or higher. In this case, DO NOT touch the light to prevent scalding.
  • If the light is stored for a long time or transported, please rotate the mode switch to the OFF position.

NOTICE

  • The mode switch is magnetically sensitive. When close to a magnet, interference may occur.
  • To replace batteries, please align the positive and negative ends according to their instructive marks before putting them in.
  • The 1350-lumen output can only last 1 minute, and then it will gradually step down to 500 lumens within 1 minute.
  • The light may turn off abruptly when using protected RCR123A batteries that have overcurrent protection and low-voltage protection.
  • When the battery voltage is too low, the maximum brightness will be capped at 300 lumens.
  • It is normal for the light beam to flicker while the batteries are running out.
  • NYLOK is a registered trademark of NYLOK LLC.
  • The IR beam is only visible with a night vision device.
