Introduction
Your electronic manual tap timer gives you all the convenience of set and
forgets garden watering. Just select how long and how often you want to water
your garden and the GH9135 will do the rest.

Operating instructions
- Install and only use 2 new AAA ALKALINE batteries in the battery compartment (Using old batteries will decrease the overall operational time of the timer). To open the battery compartment, squeeze levers together
- Test to ensure the unit is operational. Simply turn the Run Time dial to the “ON” position. Within a few seconds, you should hear the timer mechanism operate.
- Program your timer prior to connecting to the tap.
- Use the FREQUENCY dial to determine how often you want to water
- Use the RUN TIME dial to determine how long you want to water
- Ensure the cover is firmly screwed onto the timer.
- Fit the 3/4″ tap connector or the 1″ adaptor to your garden tap. If using the 1″ adaptor, attach it directly to the tap.
- Loosen the collar until the fitted 3/4″ tap connector Is loose. Then hold the timer steady with one hand. Fit to the tap.
- Hand tightens the collar until secure. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
- The water can now be turned on. Please note: Watering will commence when the first “frequency cycle” you have set has passed. For example, if your Frequency Dial is set to 1 hour, the first watering cycle will commence one hour after you have set the program….and continue hourly thereafter. Using “ON” will allow the water to flow from the tap. Using “Of” will prevent water from flowing from the tap, even if the tap is on.
– Watering Frequency-Select every 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, or 72 hours, or every week.
– Watering Run Time-Select 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes.
Settings/Programs
Once attached to the tap simply select your watering frequency and your run time. The dials can be turned both clockwise and anti-clockwise without damaging the mechanism. To set watering twice daily- Select 12. To set watering daily-Select 24. To set watering every second day- Select 48. To set watering once a week- Select week.
Time Delay Feature
You can delay your watering start time using the Time Delay Feature. Use the point of a pen to depress the button for each hour you want to delay watering. You can delay watering in 1 hourly interval only, up to a maximum of 12 hours. So to delay watering for 3 hours, depress the Time Delay button 3 times.
Low Battery Indicator
The Low Battery Indicator light flashes continuously while the batteries still have sufficient power to operate the timer. When the battery power is low the Low Battery indicator will remain on, and t lye will be shut off. The light will go out when the battery i
Maintenance
Make sure you only use new Alkaline batteries. Keep clear of dirt and debris. Ensure water is not Ensure the cover remains screwed firmly onto the timer. The timer cannot be reassembled if taken apart. Disassembling will void any warranties.

Troubleshooting
- If batteries are running low the valve will close automatically.
- Ensure that the Run Time dial is not set to “OFF”
- Check that the Frequency selected is longer than the Run Time. For E.g. do not set a 120-minute run time and a 2-hour frequency
- Make sure the Tap is turned on.
