SAFETY

  • By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • This unit is equipped with a battery backup system, which requires a battery (not included).
    Place the battery in the battery compartment and make sure that the + and – battery terminals correspond with the symbols in the battery compartment.
    If an AC power failure occurs, the clock will automatically switch to the battery power and the internal clock memory will continue running (note that the display is switched off and the radio won’t operate).
    When the AC power resumes, the unit automatically switches back to the AC power and will return to normal operation.

USE

Setting the time

  • In standby mode, press and hold the Time Set / Sleep Set button to and the display will start blinking. Press the Tune – / Hour button to set the hour and the Tune + / Minute button to set the minute.

Setting the alarm

  • In standby mode, press the Alarm 1 / Volume – button to turn Alarm 1 on or off. This is indicated by the indicator light next to the Alarm 1 in the display.

  • Long press Alarm 1 / Volume – button to set alarm 1’s time. When the time display is blinking after the long press, press the Tune – / Hour button to set the hour and the Tune + / Minute button to set the minute.

  • After setting the time, press again the Alarm 1 / Volume – button and the radio frequency is shown.
    Use the Tune – / Hour button and the Tune + / Minute to choose to wake up from Radio (displayed as frequency) or Buzzer (displayed as BU).

  • Press the Alarm 1 / Volume – button again to exit the alarm setting mode.

  • These steps are the same for Alarm 2 (use the Alarm 2 / Volume + button)

  • When you are awakened by buzzer but wish to sleep a few to sleep a few minutes more, simply touch the “snooze” button and it will shut off the buzzer for 10 minutes before the music or buzzer sounds again.
    This can be repeated.

Listening to the radio

  • Turn on the radio with the On/Off button.
  • Use the Tune – / Hour button and the Tune + / Minute button to adjust the radio frequency.
  • Use the Alarm 1 / Volume – button and the Alarm 2 / Volume + button to adjust the volume.
  • To enter preset stations into the memory press the Memory button.
  • P01 will blink, press the Memory button again to set the current frequency as P01.
  • Repeat these steps to set the other stations on P01 to P10.
  • To listen to the preset stations, press the Preset button.
    Press it once to listen to P01, press it twice to listen to P02, etc.

Sleep Function

  • Press the Time Set / Sleep Set button to choose the sleep time from 90 to 10 minutes (10 minutes interval).
  • The device will turn off after the displayed time from 90 to 10 minutes.
    To turn this function off press the TIME SET/SLEEP SET button until the display shows “OFF”.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
  • Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid.
    The device is not dishwasher proof.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances.
