Caution

  1. Check the joints each time and make sure the pump and motor are correctly placed on the frame of the machine.
  2. Align the two pulleys and the belt with proper tension.
  3. Check that the engine has enough oil and fuel.
  4. Before starting the engine, check the engine On/Off switches and the carburettor.
  5. Insert the hose into the sprayer inlet. Put the filter on the pipe 20 cm from the bottom of the water container to extend its life sprayer.
  6.  Make sure the water supply is sufficient to help the pump reach the pressure needed for operation.
  7. Install the spray tube and gun.
  8. Open the bleeder choke before starting the engine to release it air in the pump. Before using the gun or before spraying, make sure the water circulation in the pump is working properly.
  9. To extend the life of the pump, operate the machine only with the pressure it indicates. Adjust the pressure by turning the adjustment valve to left.
  10. To avoid any damage to the pump, switch off the engine for a while when you have operated the machine for more than 5 minutes.
  11. Drain all old oil before putting in new oil.
  12. Screw in the oil screw before putting in #30-#40 oil and fill until it reaches oil 2/3 of the oil indicator.
  13. Always fill the grease container with grease and turn it every 2 hours operation.
  14. After you finish spraying, loosen the pressure regulator and operate the sprayer with clean water to rinse the machine from the chemicals.
  15. Do not mark other people with the spray.
  16. Operate the machine carefully, the engine temperature is too high.
  17. Do not pull on pulleys or belts when the sprayer is operating. Problems
    • Operating pressure and water supply are not constant:
    • Check if the suction pipe is leaking or clogged.
    • Open the vent choke and release all air.
    • Remove the water inlet cover to check if the valves are stuck or damaged.
    •  Check if the suction filter is clogged.
    • Insufficient pressure:
    • Check if the pressure is set correctly.
    • Check if the belt is too loose.
    • Check if the spray pipe or connections are damaged.
    • Check if the valve is worn.
    • Cylinder leakage:
    • Remove the dust seal and lift the adjustment ring.
    • If there is still a leak, change the cylinder package.
    • Damaged piston. Faulty piston creates leakage and low pressure.
    • Engine does not start
    • Check if the valve is in the On position.
    • If the engine is not too hot close the choke.
    • Check if the engine switch is in the On position.
    • Check that you have installed the correct fuel. If not, drain the fuel from it tank and carburetor and refill them.
    • Check if the spark plug is clean. If not, clean it or replace the spark plug.
    • Engine power reduction:
    • Check if the air filter is clogged.
    • Check if the oil is corroded or dirty oil has been used.
    • Poor spray performance
    • Check if the nozzle is clogged with debris or if the tip is worn. Clean the nozzle or change the tip.
    • The pressure is too low. Increase the pressure.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR PETROL INJECTION PUMP

  1. Assembling the pump Connect the pump to a motor by aligning the pulleys. Adjust them straps. Both crankshafts should be parallel.
  2. Filling and changing oil Place oil up to level (SAE#30) inside the oil plug located at sump. The oil should be changed first after 10 hours of operation, on second time after 30 hours, third time after 60 hours and then every 100 hours operation. The change should be carried out when the oil in the sump is still warm
  3. Pump cylinder and grease Screw the screws with grease every three hours after operation on the cylinder of the pump so that grease goes to the pistons. Make sure the screws are full with grease.
  4. Spray function
    • Connect (1) suction pipe together with strainer to (4) suction inlet and (2) overflow pipe to inlet (5) overflow on pump. Is important to put a ring on each inlet or the pump will not absorb any liquid.
    • Connect (3) spray pipe to (6) central valve or choke as needed be closed until the desired pressure is obtained. (7) Install its lever exhaust at high point.
    • To start the engine turn the (8) regulator to the unloading position. Turn the regulator until you reach the desired pressure (maximum 50 kg, normal 30 kg)
    • Open the central valve to start spraying.
    • After spraying make sure you have set the exhaust lever to high point and then stop the engine.
  5. Damages and Repairs
    • No water absorption
    • Check the suction part, ring and tube
    • Check the strainer, clean it with water.
    • Raise exhaust lever, open center valve to release air.
    • Remove 2 screws from the water release part, check that the valves are clean.
    • The press`ure does not increase
    • Check the belts and adjust their tension.
    • Check if the hose or connector is damaged and replace if necessary.
    • If there is fluid leakage under the cylinder, tighten the grease screws. If the leak continues have the machine serviced. Maintenance
    • After each operation clean the tool by letting it run for 5 minutes with clean water.
    • Unscrew the pressure regulator and tighten the central screw. Do not unscrew it.
    • Check the oil in the sump and change if necessary.
