Safety instructions

  • Only use the appliance for the intended purpose it was designed for, as described in this manual.

Preparation before use

  • Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
  • Check that the device is in good condition and with all accessories. In case of incomplete or damaged delivery, please contact the supplier immediately. In this case, do not use the device.
  • Clean the accessories and the appliance before use (See ==> Cleaning & Maintenance).
  • Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
  • Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resistant surface that is safe against water splashes.
  • Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in the future.
  • Keep the user manual for future reference.
    NOTE! Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may emit a light odor during the first few uses. This is normal and does not indicate any defect or hazard. Make sure the appliance is well ventilated.

Operating instructions

  • Power Up
    When plug into the socket, “—” will be shown on the display. It will disappear in 1 minute of inactivity. Then, this microwave will enter into the Idle Mode.

  • Idle Mode
    During idle mode, the screen display “E” and there will be no oven activity. Opening and then closing the oven door will activate the ready mode. The oven will enter idle mode after a minute of no use, The time it takes to activate idle mode can be changed with the ‘user options’ (Option 4, Timeout Window).

  • Ready Mode
    Opening and closing the door while the oven is in Idle Mode will put the oven into Ready Mode. In this mode, the oven is ready to either begin a manual or preset cooking cycle. During Ready Mode, “READY” displays. From the Ready Mode, the oven can go to almost all of the other modes.

  • Door Open Mode
    Door open mode is activated by opening the door. During this mode, the screen display “DOOR” and “OPEN”. And the fan and oven lamp work. When the oven was working when the door was opened the program will be paused.

  • Manual Entry Mode
    Make sure the microwave is under “READY” mode. Select the time with the ‘Time Entry’ button, the display will show “00:00”, select the requested time with the number keyboard. After that, select the power level. Press ‘Power’ button first and then select the power level with the number keyboard as shown in below table (Defrost /10%/20%/30%/40%/50%/60%/70%/80%/90 %/100%), The display will show the selected power. If you press again the same power level button, the power will be back to set 100% power. Also, if no power level button is set, the power will be default to 100%. When everything is set press the ‘Start’ button, now the microwave will start operating. At the end of the cycle the display will show ‘DONE’ or beeps will be heard until the microwave is opened or the ‘Pause’ button is pressed.

  • Pause Mode
    This mode allows users to pause the cycle to inspect or stir the food. While the microwave is operating open the door or press the ‘Pause’ button to pause the cycle. The display will show the remaining time. To resume the cycle, close the door and press the ‘Start’ button. When nothing is done the microwave will go into idle mode.

  • Run program mode
    This microwave comes with preset programs. When the microwave is in ‘Ready mode’ press one of the number keys and the microwave will run the program. Below you’ll find the preset programs. When operating the microwave shows the remaining time in the display, when it’s a multi-stage program the total remaining time will be displayed.

Programming

Open the door and press and hold “1” on the number keyboard for about 4 ~ 6 seconds, the buzzer will sound and the display will show ‘PROGRAM’ to indicate you entered program mode. Select the time with the ‘Time Entry’ button, the display will show “00:00”, select the requested time with the number keyboard. After that, select the power level. Press ‘Power’ button first and then select the power level with the number keyboard as shown in below table (Defrost/10%/20%/30%/40%/ 50%/60%/70%/80%/90%/100%). The display will show the selected power. If you press again the same power level button, the power will be back to set 100% power. Also, if no power level button is set, the power will be default to 100%. After setting the time, power and press the ‘start’ button to safe the program. The display will show ‘PROGRAM’. Close the door to return to ‘Ready mode’. If you want to cancel during programming, press the ‘Pause’ button and the oven will return to the ‘door open’ mode and the program won’t be saved. Below a quick guide how to make a program of 1.25 minutes at 70% power:

  1. Open the door and press number button ‘1’ for about 4 ~ 6 seconds, display will show ‘PROGRAM’.
  2. Press number button ‘3’, display shows P003. After 2 seconds the display will show the time related with the program ‘:30’.
  3. Press the number buttons ‘1’ ‘2’ ‘5’ to set the cooking time.
  4. Press ‘Power’ button, and choose 7 on the number keyboard for power level 70%. The display will show ‘1:25 70’.
  5. Press the ‘Start’ button. The program is now saved under number keyboard ‘3’.

To overwrite the program repeat the steps above. Note: Total programming time is limited to 60 minutes only. Note: When the cooking time exceeds the maximum time the microwave can operate (standard 60 minutes) three beeps will be sound. This means you need to adjust the time before the program can work.

Double and triple quantity (X2 or X3)
This microwave is equipped with a function to calculate the amount of time needed when preparing a double or triple quantity of food. Press the ‘X2’ or ‘X3’ button followed by the program and the microwave double or triple the time you preset and start the process. This function can only be used in combination with a preset program

Multi stage cooking
This function can be used during manual entry or programming. The maximum number of stages is 3. To use this function first follow the steps under ‘Manual entry’. After setting the time and power of the first stage press ‘Time Entry’ button again, the display shows “STAGE-2”, now input the desired time and power. If a third stage is needed, press ‘Time Entry’ button once more, the display will show “STAGE-3”, and input the desired time and power. Now press the ‘start’ button to start the microwave. Multi stage input is set in a same manner while in programming mode. Bellow an example of how this could work:

  1. Open the door and press and hold “1” on the number keyboard for 4 ~ 6 seconds, display will show “PROGRAM”.
  2. Press number button ‘3’, display shows “P003”. After 2 seconds the display will show the time related with the program (standard ‘:30’).
  3. Press the number buttons ‘1’ ‘2’ ‘5’ to set the cooking time.
  4. Press ‘Power’ button, and choose 7 on the number keyboard for power level 70%. The display will show “1:25 70”.
  5. To set the second stage press ‘Time Entry’ button for button 2- time entry button, the display will show “STAGE-2”.
  6. Press the number buttons ‘3’ ‘3’ ‘0’ to input the time.
  7. Press ‘Power’ button, and choose 5 on the number keyboard for power level 50%. The display will show “3:30 50”.
  8. Press the ‘Start’ button for button 5. The multi stage program is now saved under number keyboard ‘3’.
    Note: Total cooking time is limited to 60 minutes only.
    Note: When multi stage cooking is active the microwave shows the total time remaining of all stages.

How to set the U disk

  1. Insert U disk to your PC or Mac, select the appropriate installer
    package according to the computer system:
    Flash Tune 1.1.3.exe is for Window.
    Flash Tune 1.1.3.dmg is for Mac.

  2. Click the icon after installation to open the FlashTune software and click the Commercial MWO.

  3. Complete the cooking time required for STAGE 1 of your cooking cycle. The maximum time value of each stage is 60 minutes.

  4. Select the % of power required for STAGE 1 .

  5. Complete each stage of cooking. STAGE 1, 2 and 3 if applicable. Update each menu item line by line. Key in the Min and Sec, and choose Power of each STAGE of each line.

  6. The auto recipe setup can be completed by either software or microwave oven. Open the door and long press the number Key 1 when the power is on and the “PROGRAM” will be shown on the display screen. Input the reset recipe number and the recipe maybe set up by inputting number Key 1. The number Key 0-9 are also available for changing the cooking time. If the heat power is to be changed, press “power level” key. For example, press Key 6 indicates 60% power level. Finally press “Start” key to complete the operation.

How to Save Your Program File

  1. To save your progress or add/edit menu items, click on File and Save as. Name your file and save.
  2. Your files are saved and can be opened and edited later.
    And the saved files can be transferred to another computer installed with this software through a USB or network.
    Ant then you can also open, edit and save your files on the another computer.

How to Clear or Remove Items from Software Window

  1. To clear ALL menu items within the display, click Clean Auto. A pop-up box will be displayed. “Are you sure to remove all auto recipes?” Click Yes. And the specific item is not allowed to delete.
  2. Your menu display is now clear.

How to Retrieve Your Saved File

  1. To retrieve your saved menu items, click on File and Open.
  2. Select your previously saved menu file. Your menu item will be re-imported and displayed in the window.

How to Export Your Menu Items via USB Export all

  1. To export menu items to USB, click the Export All.
  2. Select your location to export. Your folder will be automatically named “COOKDATA”. If the current directory already has a “COOKDATA” folder, the original “COOKDATA” folder will be deleted and a new folder will replace the original folder.
  3. Copy the COOKDATA folder to the root directory of the USB.

How to Export Your Program File Cookdata to USB

  1. Your saved file is now ready to be transferred to USB.
    Note: The USB must be formatted to FAT32 to successfully transfer the file and upload to the microwave unit.

  2. To load your menu items to the microwave, insert the USB stick into the USB port located on the right hand side of the unit, as directed in (Fig.3 on page 3). Press the USB button to start the transfer. The transfer will take a few seconds. “SUCCESS” will be displayed in the window when the transfer is completed.

  3. The USB is now ready to use.

Remarks for using USB card:

  1. Small parts, choking hazard.
  2. Please wait few seconds or more between plugging in and unplugging the USB card.
  3. Do not unplug the USB card while in use or processing.
  4. Other USB stick may not compatible with & may destroy the appliance.

Return to factory settings
To return the microwave back to the factory settings press and hold the ‘play’ and ‘0’ button until the buzzer sounds, the display will show ‘CHECK’. When the microwave restored the factory settings the display will show ‘11’. If returning to the factory settings failed the display will show ‘00’, press ‘play’ button and the display will now show ‘CLEAR’ and the buzzer will sound once, after a check the display will either show ‘11’ or ‘00’.

User options
This microwave allows the user to change some options. To change first start by opening the door and press ‘2’ for 5 seconds, the display will show ‘OP:–‘. Press the number button related with what needs to be changed, for example ‘2’. Now the display shows ‘OP:23’, keep pressing ‘2’ until the desired setting is displayd ‘OP:20’/’OP:21’/’OP:22’/’OP:23’ (it cycles trough these options). To set the desired setting press ‘Start’ button. Now the change is saved. During changing the options you can cancel this by pressing ‘Pause’ button. Utensils
There may be certain non-metallic utensils that are not safe to use for this microwave. If in doubt, you can test the utensil following the below procedure.

Test of utensil:
Put a microwave safe container with 1 cup of cold water (about 250ml) together with the utensil inside the microwave. Cook on maximum power for 1 minute. Feel the utensil carefully. If the utensil becomes warm, DO NOT use it with the microwave. Do not cook the utensil over 1 minute.

Cleaning & maintenance

  • ATTENTION! Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and cool down before storage, cleaning & maintenance.
  • Do not use water jet or steam cleaner for cleaning and do not push the appliance under the water as the parts will get wet and electric shock might be resulted.
  • If the appliance is not kept in a good state of cleanliness, this can adversely affect the life of the appliance and result in a dangerous situation.
  • Food residues should be regularly cleaned and removed from the appliance. If the appliance is not cleaned properly, it will reduce its lifespan and may result in a dangerous condition during use.
  • Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.

Cleaning

  • Clean the cooled exterior surface with a cloth or sponge slightly dampened with a mild soap solution.
  • For reasons of hygiene, the appliance should be cleaned before and after use.
  • Avoid water contacting the electrical components.
  • Clean the inside of container with a non-abrasive detergent and rinse with clean water.

How to remove and re-install the air filter

This filter (10) is placed before the air inlet and should be cleaned regularly to keep the chamber clean.

  1. Turn the filter screws (11) counterclockwise to unlock the filter and take it out. Wash the filter with lukewarm water with a mild detergent until it’s clean as possible. Let the filter dry before re-installing it.
  2. Re-install the filter screen, place the filter screws and turn them clockwise to lock the filter in position
  3. The microwave has a function to remind users of cleaning the filter every 30 days.
  4. When the microwave display shows ‘CLEAN FILTER’ check if the filter needs cleaning, to erase this message from the display hold the ‘Pause’ button for 3 seconds. CAUTION! Make sure the splash shield is installed correctly before use of the microwave oven! (Fig.5 on page 4)

How to remove and re-install the splash shield

WARNING! before removing or installing the shield, make sure the microwave is unplugged from the power outlet and the microwave is cool down.

  1. Detaching: Hold the two buckle positions in front of the splash shield with your hands (position indicated by the arrows). Pull on the buckles in the direction of the arrows. Once the buckles are out gently take the splash shield down.
  2. Wash the splash shield with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
  3. Installation: Pick up the splash shield and lock the pins in the holes on the rear plate of the chamber, move the splash shield in position and re-attach the buckles.

Maintenance

  • Check the operation of the appliance regularly to prevent serious accidents.
  • If you see that the appliance is not working properly or that there is a problem, stop using it, switch it off and contact the supplier.
