Cautions
» For Safety, these precautions must be taken when using this product.
» Before each use make sure:
Walker is adjusted to the correct height.
Locking mechanisms and spring buttons are fully engaged.
Skis and wheels are in good condition. Replace skis and wheels immediately if
worn or missing.
The walker does not have any loose hardware or components.
No components of the walker are missing.
No rust or corrosion is present on the walker.
There is no frame damage.
Walker sits level and all legs are adjusted to an equal height.
The product is only used as instructed by your healthcare provider.
If any of the above cannot be met, refrain from using the walker.
» Practice bending, reaching, and transferring to and from the walker.
» NEVER attempt a maneuver that has not been practiced.
» Be aware of your surroundings when operating the walker. Look for hazards
and avoid them.
» DO NOT exceed the maximum weight capacity listed on the device and in the
assembly guide or serious injury could result.
» DO NOT perform any adjustments while the walker is in use.
» DO NOT operate on loose gravel or uneven surfaces.
» DO NOT travel over large cracks or fissures.
» Stop and move forward slowly when encountering cracks or separations in
walkway surfaces.
» DO NOT hang anything from the walker handles or frame at any time other than
a Medline-provided basket or bag. This may cause the walker to tip.
» Use Medline accessories only. Use of other manufacturers’ accessories can
result in an improper fit that could result in fall risk and/or injury.
» Use wheels on the front legs only.
» DO NOT use on stairs or escalators.
» DO NOT exceed the weight capacity of 300 lb (136 kg).
Limited Warranty
Your Medline Product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of use by the original purchaser. This device was built to precise standards and carefully inspected prior to shipment. This Limited Warranty is an expression of our confidence in the material and workmanship of our products and assures years of convenient, dependable service. This warranty does not extend to non-durable components such as handgrips, pushbuttons, leg riggings, and any other wearable part which carries a one (1) year warranty. In the event of a defect or failure covered by this warranty, contact us at 1-800-MEDLINE. Medline will, at its option, repair or replace your Medline product.
This warranty does not extend to damage or failure occurring as a result of
owner misuse or negligence, normal wear, and tear, or other causes unrelated
to the manufacture and design of the product. This express warranty is
Medline’s sole and exclusive warranty and your sole remedy in the event of
default or failure.
Medline is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages or
costs arising from the use of the warranted products, or any defect therein or
failure thereof. Medline disclaims all other warranties including but not
limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose.
Maintenance
- Clean the frame/hand grip with a mild soap, detergent, or household cleaner. Do not use an organic solvent (Such as acetone, MEK, lacquer thinner, lighter fluid, dry cleaning fluid, gasoline, or turpentine) that may dissolve the plastic and cause damage to the product. Thoroughly dry the product IMMEDIATELY with a towel.
- Check the hardware prior to each use to ensure that all components are properly tightened and/or fastened.
- On a monthly basis or as necessary; check the condition of the frame and ensure that it is free of defects.
