General Warnings
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING YOUR BATH BENCH. To ensure the safe
installation, adjustment, and operation of Bath Bench, these instructions MUST
be followed.
DO NOT install this product without first reading and understanding this
instruction manual.
If you are unable to understand these warnings, cautions, and instructions,
contact a healthcare professional or dealer before attempting to install this
equipment.
- DO NOT place bath bench on uneven surfaces.
- DO NOT use if wobbly, unstable or not level.
- DO NOT exceed user weight capacity of 650 lbs (294 kg).
- DO NOT twist or turn while seated on bath bench, this may cause frame to bend.
- DO NOT stand on bath bench.
- DO NOT use bath bench for any purpose that it is not intended to be used for.
- DO NOT make any adjustments while using the product.
CAUTIONS
Users with limited physical strength and/or mobility should be supervised
and/or assisted while using the bath bench. Prior to use, ensure the
following:
- All pushbuttons are fully protruded and are properly engaged.
- There are no loose, broken or missing components and ensure all parts are secure.
- When using the backrest, ensure the bath bench remains balanced. Excessive twisting or turning while seated may cause a loss of balance and/or damage to the product.
- All four legs touch the floor simultaneously at all times.
- Check tips for rips, cracks or wear. If these conditions exist, DO NOT use the tips and replace IMMEDIATELY.
ADJUSTING LEG HEIGHT
Before using the product, make sure all legs are set to the same preferred height.
- Depress the push button and slide each leg to the desired height.
- Align the push button to the proper hole and let the push button snap into place.
- Repeat until all legs are adjusted to the same preferred height.
- Ensure legs are locked into place by pushing down and pulling up on each leg.
CLEANING
- Clean with regular household cleaning products. Use a non-abrasive cleaner with warm water. Wipe dry after cleaning.
- DO NOT use abrasive powders, cleaners or scouring pads.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Your Medline product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of use by the original purchaser. This device was built to precise standards and carefully inspected prior to shipment. This limited warranty is an expression of our confidence in the materials and workmanship of our products and assures years of convenient, dependable service. In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the device. This warranty does not cover device failure due to owner misuse or negligence, or normal wear and tear. The warranty does not extend to non-durable components, such as rubber accessories, casters and grips, which are subject to normal wear and replacement.
