Maintenance

Remove limescale on the inside of the kettle regularly. When using the kettle (3–5 times a day) it is recommended to descale it once a month if the water in your area is hard or very hard. If the water is soft or medium-hard, you can remove the scale once every 2–3 months. For descaling you can use 8 % vinegar solution or citric acid solution (30 g of citric acid per 0.5 l of water). Pour 0.5 liters of vinegar or citric acid solution into the kettle and leave it for 2 hours without boiling. Then pour out the contents of the kettle and boil the water in it 4– 5 times before the next use. The outer surface of the kettle can be cleaned with a dry cloth or a cloth dampened in a weak solution of neutral detergent. After applying the detergent, wipe the surface of the kettle with a clean, slightly dampened cloth and then wipe dry. The stand can only be cleaned with a dry cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners, benzene, thinner, etc. to clean the kettle and the stand.
