Before powering on for the first time, make sure that the power supply corresponds to the connection parameters of the device (frequency and voltage) from the secifications section. Do not use the device outdoors. Do not use the unit if the power cord and/or plug (7) is damaged. The unit should be repaired by a qualified technician. Do not immerse the device, cord and/or power plug (7) in water or other liquids. Do not install the unit on wet or hot surfaces or near external heat sources. To avoid getting burned, do not touch the welding strip (10) and the weld after soldering until they have cooled down. Unplug the unit when not in use. After each use of the vacuum sealer, especially if plastic residue or liquid is left on the welding strip (10) or if crumbs or food particles have fallen into the vacuum chamber (11), it is necessary to clean it. Unplug the unit by removing the power cord plug (7) from the power outlet and allow the unit to cool down. Wipe its surface with a soft cloth soaked in warm water or a weak soap solution. Then wipe with a soft cloth soaked in clean water and wipe dry. Do not use harsh detergents, abrasive pastes, polishes or detergents containing acids or solvents. Use a vacuum sealer to vacuum and/or seal dry products only. The device is not designed to handle moist products or liquid food. Use only special bags and containers for vacuum sealers. The adapt r (vacuum hose) (8) supplied with the vacuum sealer is only used to evacuate air from special vacuum containers. Before placing bagged or containerized food in the microwave, make a hole in the bag or open the outlet valve (13) in the container to allow steam to escape. Use only manufacturer-recommended accessories, consumables and/or replacement parts. Detailed information can be found in the full manual, available for download at aeno.com/documents. Do not leave the appliance switched on unattended. After use the device should be allowed to cool down. The device can only be used by people with disabilities under direct supervision and monitoring. When the unit is not in use in order to prevent deformation of the seal (9) and deterioration of the unit performance it is recommended to place a paper liner inside the vacuum sealer and loosely close the lid without locking its latches (12). Do not allow children to use and/or play with the device.

Troubleshooting

  • There were pieces of the package left on the welding strip after sealing. Possible cause: overheating of the welding strip. Solution: Allow the device to cool for 90 seconds.
  • After sealing, air appears in the bag. Possible cause: puncture of the bag by the sharp edges of protruding products. Solution: Replace the bag, remove products with sharp edges, or cover the edges of the products with a cloth or suitable cloth.
  • The sealing seam is tenuous. Possible reason: insufficient sealing time. Solution: Repeat the sealing process again, following all the points in the instructions.
