SAFETY

- Before use, read the manual and safety information carefully. The supplier is not responsible for failure to follow the safety information on the use and handling of the product or damage to property or personal injury.
- Always observe the following precautions when using ‘the Electric foot warmer’, hereinafter referred to as ‘the product’.
General
- Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with misuse of the product.
- Misuse may result in personal injury and damage to the product or products connected to it.
- Use the product only for the purposes indicated in this manual. If the product does not function properly do not use it and consult our customer service.
- The product is designed and intended for private use. Do not use the product for commercial purposes.
- When you are not using the product, turn it off and unplug it. Only position 1 is intended for continuous use. Always turn the switch to position 1 before going to sleep or when the product is heating up.
- Do not pull the cord to unplug the product.
- Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twisting the cord.
- Make sure you do not trip over the cord and that the cord is not kinked, twisted, or stuck.
- Do not put a cover over the product.
- Do not place objects or heat sources (such as pitchers) on the product when it is on or it is stored.
- The product can only be operated through the control panel.
- Do not use the product if it is folded or creased.
- Do not attach safety pins or other sharp objects to the product or allow sharp objects to pierce the product.
- Allow the product to cool completely before folding and storing it. Do not fold the product too tightly.
- Store the product in its original packaging in a dry and clean place. Be careful not to damage the power cord when folding it.
- The product can be washed by hand. Always unplug the power cord and disconnect the control panel from the product before washing the product.
- It takes about 15 minutes for the product to warm up. Note that the temperature feels warmer on your feet than on your hands.
- During the first use, there may be an odor coming off the product. This is normal and this smell is not harmful. Be sure to air the product well after using it for the first time.
Persons and use
- The product is not suitable for children under 3 years of age or for people with physical or mental disabilities. Use of the product is permitted only if a supervisor is present and responsible for the safety of the user.
- Children over 8 years of age may only use the product if a supervisor is present who is in charge of the control panel and responsible for the safety of the user.
- Use and store the product out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Ensure that children do not play with the product.
- The product should not be used on persons who are insensitive to heat or who need a lot of protection because they cannot react to overheating (e.g., diabetics, persons with disease-induced skin changes or scars in the area of application, after taking painkillers or narcotics or alcohol).
- The product is for feet only. Do not use the product near your eyes or other sensitive areas. Never place the product on or over the head. Do not sit on the product.
- Prolonged use on a high setting may cause burns.
Medical remarks
- The product does not serve as a substitute for treatments from a physician or physical therapist.
- Do not use the product or consult a physician before use if: you are pregnant; you have a pacemaker or other electronic implants; you have circulation problems, varicose veins, open wounds, bruises, broken skin, inflammation of the veins, or other skin conditions; you are sensitive to heat.
- Consult a doctor before using the product if you have unexplained pain, undergo medical treatment, or use medical equipment.
- Stop use and consult a doctor if you experience pain or discomfort while using the product.
Electrical
- Do not disassemble, repair, or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the product. For your safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service personnel.
- Always send the product to a service center for repairs to prevent damage and personal injury.
- Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
- Check both the power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by authorized service personnel.
- When the product is on, do not use it near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool, or near a (laundry) tub filled with water.
- Do not touch the product or power cord with wet hands. Do not allow the product to come into contact with water.
- Do not immerse the product in water. Do not allow the control panel to come into contact with water. If water does get inside or on the product or control panel, turn off the product immediately and contact our customer service department.
- If the power fails during use, immediately turn off the product and unplug the power cord.
- The product gets hot during use. Do not use the product if you are sensitive to heat.
- Keep the product away from moisture, heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high, and heat sources such as ovens.
- Do not cover the control panel when the product is on. Never place pillows or blankets on or against the control panel. Doing so may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury, or damage to the product.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- The product is equipped with overheating protection.
- This means that the product automatically shuts off after 90 minutes of use. If you want to use it longer, let the product cool down for 5-10 minutes before using it again.
- Plug in the power cord and slide the switch to position 3.
- The product heats up slowly.
- Slide the switch to 1 or 2 for a lower temperature.
- Slide the switch back to position 1 before going to sleep or if you want to use the product for a longer period.
- Slide the switch back to 0 to turn the product off.
- During the first use, an odor may come off the product. This is normal and this smell is not harmful. Be sure to air the product well after using it for the first time.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Unplug the product and allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes.
- Disconnect the plug and control panel.
- Wash the inner lining by hand or in the washing machine on the hand wash cycle.
- Use lukewarm water and mild detergent and squeeze the product gently.
- Rinse the product several times to rinse out all the detergent.
- Let the product air dry. Do not put it in the dryer, use a (hair) dryer or iron it.
- Use the product only when it is completely dry again.
STORAGE
- Let the product cool completely before folding and storing it.
- Do not fold it too tightly.
- Store the product in its original packaging in a dry and clean place.
- Be careful not to damage the power cord when folding the product.
- Do not place objects on the product when it is stored.
- Do not store the product in extremely high or low temperatures.
DISPOSAL AND RECYCLE
- Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment! This product is subject to the European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU.
- At the end of its service life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but deliver it to a collection point designated by the authorities for recycling.
