Intended Use

This product is a household convector heater. Intended for use of heating rooms in private households. It is not intended for outdoor use, commercial or industrial applications. To be operated only indoors, in dry locations and not to be used by children, infants or people with limited dexterity or level of cognition. The manufacturer is exempt from liabilities imposed due to any injuries or damage performed from using the product outside the scope of intended purpose.

Warnings and Safety Instructions

Please ensure that the packaging is kept out of the reach of children! Risk of suffocation!

Make sure to keep this user manual. Read the manual carefully before using your Auronic product.

General
  • Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with improper use of the convector heater. Misuse can result in personal injury and damage to the appliance.
  • Use the convector heater only for the purposes indicated in this manual.
  • If the convector heater does not function properly, has been dropped or damaged, DO NOT use it and consult Customer Service.
  • The convector heater is designed and intended for private use. Do not use it for commercial purposes.
  • Use only indoors and do not move the appliance when it is on. Allow the appliance to cool completely before moving it.
  • DO NOT leave the convector heater unattended when in use. When not in use, turn off and unplug the convector heater.
  • Use the product within the specified environmental parameters and away from flammable gases, vapors and solvents. Never use the appliance in a place designated for explosive atmospheres.
  • Do not use the device near objects that are sensitive to heat, flammable, or may cause fire.
  • Turn off the appliance, unplug the appliance and allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
  • When you use the convector heater for the first time, it may make a creaking sound..
Persons
  • The convector heater] can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
  • The convector heater can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
Use
  • Do not use the device while sleeping, or near people who cannot turn the device off by themselves.
  • Leave at least 1m of space between the appliance and other objects.
  • The convector heater gets hot during use. Do not touch the hot surfaces to avoid burns. Do not use the appliance if you are sensitive to heat.
  • Keep the appliance away from heat, rooms where the temperature is relatively high and heat sources such as ovens.
  • Do not cover the convector heater when it is on. Do not place clothing, pillows, blankets or other objects on or against the appliance. Doing so may result in a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or damage to the appliance.
  • Do not insert fingers or metal objects into the openings.
  • If in the bathroom, do not place directly next to the bathtub or shower
Electronics
  • Do NOT reconstruct, repair or disassemble the convector heater. This can damage the device. For safety reasons, these parts may only be replaced by authorised service personnel. In order to prevent hazards, always send the convector heater to the service centre for repairs.
  • Make sure your outlet supplies the correct power voltage to avoid damage to the convector heater.
  • Always check the power cord and plug before using the convector heater. Do NOT operate the convector heater if the cord or plug are damaged. A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by a qualified person in order to avoid damages and personal injuries.
  • Only use the adapter provided by Auronic.
  • If the power fails during usage, turn off the convector heater immediately and pull the plug from the socket.
  • Do NOT disconnect the convector heater from its power supply by pulling the cable.
  • Do NOT carry or pull the device by its cable.
  • Make sure that you do NOT trip over the cable. The cable should not be kinked, trapped or twisted. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch a hot surface.

Receiving Your Shipment

  • When receiving your shipment, make sure that the contents are consistent with the packing list. Notify your distributor of any missing items. If the equipment appears to be damaged, file a claim immediately with the carrier and notify your distributor at once, giving a detailed description of any damage. Save the damaged packing container to substantiate your claim.

Operating Instructions

Do not use the appliance near objects that are sensitive to heat, flammable, or could cause a fire….

Do not cover the convector heater when it is on. Do not place clothing, pillows, blankets or other objects on or against the appliance. Doing so may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal injury or damage to the appliance.

Installing
  1. Put the product upside down on a soft cotton cloth or carpet.
  2. Fix the feet to the base of the heater using the screws provided. Line up the holes in the base with the holes in feet, put the screws through the holes and tighten with a screwdriver.

Usage

Heater Control
  1. The heater will beep as it power on. The heater starts on standby mode, displaying the current temperature of the room.

  2. To initiate heating, press the ON/OFF button. At first use you will see the heating icon and the ECO mode icon, This means the device is in the ECO mode state. The heater has a memory function. When you turn the heater on after the first time, the last working state will be applied
    Note: The memory function: you can control your heater by your phone over the world if the network connected.

  3. To change the heating mode, press the UP and DOWN to cycle through the modes: ECO mode , Comfort mode and anti-frost mode.

  4. To adjust the set temperature of any of the modes, you can press the setting button. When the digital light flash, then use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the temperature. The temperature range is between 5°C –50°C.
    Note: the temperature cannot be adjusted in anti-frost mode

  5. To set the timer, press the setting button, when the light turn on, the UP and DOWN buttons can be used to adjust the time. The timer range is 1 – 24 hours. The digits will flash while setting and then the screen will return to heating mode. The timer icon on the screen will show that the timer has been set. The heater will heat until the time has elapsed.

  6. To set the child lock, press and hold the UP button. The padlock icon will appear on the screen and the control panel will be locked out. To release, press and hold the DOWN button. The padlock icon will disappear, indicating that all the buttons can be used again.

  7. Long press the setting button to turn off all the display lights and press any key to light up the display again.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Always disconnect the appliance and let it completely cool before any maintenance. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust on grilles. Clean the outside of the unit with a damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth. Never immerse the unit in water, nor let water drip into the unit.

Storage

  • Store the Convector Cleaner in a clean and dry place. Do not store the device in extreme high or extreme low temperatures.

Disposal – Recyle

Contribute to a cleaner living environment! Do not dispose of the Convector Heater with the household waste. This product is subject to the European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. For proper recycling, please contact your local authority or your household waste disposal service for further details on your nearest designated collection point.

Service and Warranty

  • If you need service or information regarding your product, please contact the Auronic Customer Support at service@auronic.nl
  • Auronic provides a 2 year warranty on its products. To obtain service during the warranty period, the product needs to be returned with a proof of purchase. Product defects have to be reported within 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover: damages caused by misuse or incorrect repair; parts subject to wear; defects that the customer was aware of at the time of purchase; damages or defects caused by customer neglect; damages or defects caused by third parties.
