CO ELECTRONICS PCB Spiral Led Chaser

This guide explains how to install the components for a fully working circuit
and the reader must have the knowledge of how to solder and the precautions
needed to avoid injuries.
Therefore, the author assumes no responsibility for any damage and injuries.
Material Checklist
INSTALLATION
Installing the ICs
Place the IC following the semicircle reference as shown in the picture.
Installing the Electrolytic capacitor
Place the Capacitor following the White stripe stripe reference as shown in
the picture.
Installing the Transistor
Place the Transistor following the ‘D’ shape as in the picture.
Installing the capacitor, Switch and Potentiometer
Place the 3 components as shown in the picture, they don’t have any
polarity and the potentiometer fits only in one way!
Installing the Battery Holder
The Battery Holder has a polarity and needs to be installed following the
white silkscreen shape or just look at the picture!
Installing the resistors
Bend the terminals of the resistors as shown in the picture.
Installing the resistors
Install the resistor as you like, they don’t have polarity, but if you want
a nice looking board you can follow the example in the picture!
Installing the LEDs
To install correctly the LED there are 2 references:
- The first is the ‘D’ shape of the silkscreen.
- The second reference is to keep the larger electrode on the left as in the picture.
Installing the Battery
Place the Battery as show in the picture and then push it down!
Switch it ON
- Switch ON the circuit toggling to the right.
- Turn right or left the upper white part of the potentiometer to change the speed of the chaser!
