Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the R-AVR2408/3008/5008 series voltage regulator. To enjoy the benefits offered by this unit, please read this user manual and follow the instructions below. We recommend that you keep this manual for future reference.

Feature

  1. Main power button.
Turn the equipment on and off.

  2. High voltage LED indicator [Buck) illuminates when the equipment corrects a high voltage condition.

  3. Power LED indicator. The LED illuminates when the AVR supplies power to the connections.

  4. LED indicator under voltage. [Boost] Illuminates when the equipment corrects a low voltage condition.

  5. Low voltage LED indicator [Super Boost]

  6. Coaxial protection.
Protect your equipment against dangerous voltage spikes.

  7. Breaker overload.
It allows the easy recovery of an overload.

  8. AVR plus surge protection outlets.

  9. Delay device.

    • 30 seconds: Recommended for normal AC power. [recommended for microwave)
    • 1 minute: Allows longer time for normalization and stabilization of electrical fluids. [recommended for electronic equipment]
    • 3 minutes : Recommended for mechanical products, refrigerators, air conditioners or for areas where energy quality is poor.

Connect the equipment that protects from voltage variations to any of the sockets of your regulator. The 9 sockets offer regulation and protection against voltage spikes.

Press the power switch, the regulator will click a few times. The center LED will light up. Remember that your regulator has a “PROTECTION DELAY” system and it will take the time established to deliver power to the connected equipment. The above is manifested when the center LED (2) is lit intermittently.

If the LED above lights [4]the regulator is reducing voltage, if the LED on the bottom of your regulator is lit, the voltage is increasing. [Read full explanation in the table of technical specifications]
