Product Usage Instructions
IMPORTANT: Please read the user manual before using the pump.
- Protective gloves must be worn during operation.
- Avoid using the pump in rainy or moist conditions.
- Do not use the pump to pump ignitable liquids like gasoline or kerosene.
- Avoid using the pump in areas where there is a risk of explosion.
- Ensure there are no open flames, lighters, matches, cigarettes, or similar items present during pump operation.
- The pump is suitable for pumping clean diesel/biodiesel or fuel oil only.
- Avoid pumping liquids with abrasive components, as it can reduce the pump’s lifespan.
- The installation of the pump should be done by a qualified professional.
- Check the electrical connections and cables for any damage before each use.
- Do not perform cable extensions without proper technical knowledge, as it may void the warranty.
- Ensure the pump is adequately cooled during prolonged operation.
- Use the pump in well-ventilated rooms with enough fresh air.
- Place the pump on a flat surface and maintain sufficient distance from walls.
- Do not reduce the cross area of suction and discharge lines.
Installation of the Barrel Pump
- Connect all parts correctly and ensure outlet connections are properly placed.
- Insert full batteries into the battery compartment.
- Turn on the pump using the on/off switch.
- Refuel as usual.
- When fueling is complete, return the nozzle to its storage position and turn off the pump.

Storage Instructions
- If you do not intend to use the pump for an extended period of time, drain the fluid from the pump, flush it out with diesel/heating oil, and store it dry at room temperature.

INTRODUCTION
- We would like to congratulate you on the purchase of our pump. We appreciate your trust. That‘s why functional security and operational safety stands on first place for us.
- To prevent damage to persons or property, you should read this user manual carefully. Please observe all safety precautions and instructions for proper use of the pump. Failure to follow the instructions and safety precautions can result in injury or property damage.
- Please keep this manual with the instructions and safety instructions carefully in order to at any time you can restore them.
IN GENERAL
The barrel pumps are developed according to the newest stand of technology,
manufactured with much care and go under strict intensive controls – each pump
is checked individually – rests of the check-fluid could be still inside the
pump or on the package. The counter (if available) shows more than 0,0 Liter
because of that (usually 5-12L). The pumps were optimized by us in particular
for their special demands. Make sure after unpacking the pump that the data
given on the type label agree with the operating conditions. In the case of
doubt the pump is not to be used. Transport damages are immediately to be
reported to the package distrib utor and to us in witten form. By transport
with DHL please contact your local DHL office within 7 days.
RANGES OF APPLICATION
These diesel-pumps are made for pumping diesel, water, gasoline, AdBlue® or
fuel oil ONLY!
IMPORTANT!
- They are not suitable for pumping ignitable liquids like gasoline, kerosene, or for pumping at places where the danger of an explosion exists. When using the pump, make sure there are no open flames, lighters, matches, cigarettes or similar things present around you. When operating suitable protective gloves must be worn.
- These pumps are made for pumping clean diesel / biodiesel or fuel oil ONLY! The pumped liquid should not contain abrasive components. Abrasive components reduces pump life.
OPERATION
- The installation must be performed by a qualified professional.
- Please, check each time before using, the electrical connections and the cables are not damaged. Also, it is NOT recommended to perform, for example, a cable extension. It is not certain whether this modification is technically correct, so this warranty is void.
- It must be ensured that the pump is sufficiently cooled during prolonged operation.
- Diesel pumps are electrical products, which have to be protected against outer influences, f.e. caused by weather.
- Only use the pump in well-ventilated rooms and areas with enough fresh air. The floor, on which the pump may be used, should be flat. Please keep enough space from walls.
- The specified suction lift is the maximum suction at optimal conditions. Do not reduce the cross area of suction and discharge lines.
Installation of the barrel pump
- Connect all parts correctly and ensure outlet connections are in proper placement.
- Insert full batteries into the battery compartment. Turn on the pump by use the on/off swich.
- Refuel as usual.
- When fueling is complete, return the nozzle to its storage position and turn off the pump.

SECURITY TIPS
- Do not leave the motor running, when not in operation.
- Clean the optional fuel strainer regularly.
- Obey absolutely valid regulations on the electrical security
- When operating suitable protective gloves must be worn.
- Never run pump dry
- Never run pump against pressure
- Pumping inflammable, as well as all other aggressive liquids, except of diesel or fuel oil, is prohibited
- Never pump liquid food products
- Before usage, check on the tightness of the hose clamps
- Pay attention to the max. liquid temperature of 35°C
- Switch off pump immediately after usage
- Don’t move the pump in any way, while it’s running
- During longer unused times, clean the pump, wash it out with diesel or fuel oil, dry and store it at room temperature
- ALWAYS supervise and watch the pump, while using
- Operation can not be performed by children and young people under 16 and people with intellectual disabilities
- The pump must be protected from rain and moisture. The pump may only be operated in dry rooms.
Diesel
- If you do not intend to use the pump for an extended period of time, drain the fluid from the the pump, flush it out with diesel/heating oil and store it dry at room temperature.
- Pumping of liquids other than diesel or fuel oil is prohibited.
AdBlue®
- If you do not intend to use the pump for an extended period of time, drain the fluid from the the pump, flush it out with AdBlue®* and store it dry at room temperature.
- Pumping of liquids other than AdBlue®* is prohibited.
AdBlue® can not be mixed with diesel, because the chemical is injected from a separate tank into the exhaust system. Where ammonia is released, which reacts with the nitrogen oxides in the catalyst and converts to nitrogen and water vapor AdBlue® consists of 32.5% urea and 67.5 of demineralized water. AdBlue®* is odorless and non-toxic, not flammable, explosive or dangerous for the environment.
THE MANUFACTURER EXPLAINS
- To take over no responsibility in the case of accidents or damages on the basis of carelessness or disregard to the instructions in this user manual.
- To reject every responsibility for the damages which originate from the improper use of the pump.
SERVICING
- Under normal pumping conditions the pump requires no servicing.
- But it is important to keep the suctions and delivery sections perfectly clean and free from all clogging.
- The following controls should be carried out regularly:
- Check if batteries have leaked and remove the batteries from the device if it will not be used for a long time.
- That the connection hoses are not bent or broken
- Cleanness of the pump medium
- Moreover, the pump should be emptied at risk of frost, be washed out with diesel/fuel oil and stored dry.
GUARANTEE REGULATIONS
- For all manufacturing and material defects, the statutory warranty applies. In these cases we take the replacement or repair of the pump. Shipping costs shall not be borne by our company, except as required by law. Please report the warranty on our service platform http://www.profi-pumpe.de/service.php. We will inform you how to proceed with case-related. Please mark returns sufficient postage. Unfortunately not prepaid returns can not be accepted because they are filtered out before destination. We
- provide our service in Germany.
- The warranty does not cover:
- Material wear (sealing rings, impeller wheels, impeller chambers)
- Unjustified interventions or changes in the pump
- Damages by selffault
- Improper servicing and improper use
- DRY RUNNIG (Also partially!) of the pump
- Moreover, we give no damage compensation for secondary damages!
RECOGNISING AND REPAIRING OF MISTAKES
Problem | Possible causes | Solutions |

The pump won’t start
| No power supply| Check the batteries for power and direction inserted
Impeller jammed| Check for signs of damage and clogging. Reassemble.
Motor malfunction| Contact your dealer.
The suction of the pump is not working| Leak in suction lines or connections|
Check the suction pipe and all connections for tightness. Fill the suction
hose and the pump. Suction hose must be laid in a con- stantly rising, so that
air bubbles can escape towards the pump
Reduced flow
| Tank liquid level too low.| Fill up the tank.
By-pass valve jammed| Clean and re-assemble
Air in the suction tube| Make sure that the suction tube is not damaged
Filter clogged| Clean the filter.
Leakage of Diesel oil.| Check the connectors and gaskets.
NOTES ON PRODUCT LIABILITY
We point out, that we are only liable for damages under the Product Liability
Act, which are caused by our units if no changes were made to the equipment.
If repairs are carried out by our authorized service, we are only liable if
original spare parts and accessories were used.
NOTES ON DISPOSAL
Electro devices and batteries of our company, labeled with the symbol of the
crossed trash bin, are not permitted to be disposed in your household garbage.
As an end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. You can
return used batteries, which we carry or have carried as new batteries in our
range, free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address). We are
registered at the German registration department EAR under the WEEE-No.
DE79535656. This symbol means, that you’re not allowed to treat this product
as a regular household waste item – it has to be disposed at a recycling
collection point of electrical devices. This is the best way to save and
