SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • READ CAREFULLY AND RETAIN THIS INSTRUCTION FOR SAFE OPERATION

WARNING

  • Do not connect the fan to the power supply until the fan has been FULLY assembled.
  • Unplug the fan before adjusting it in any way.
  • Never operate the fan if it has damaged or worn parts. In such circumstances, it should be handed over to the manufacturer their service agent or a similarly qualified person for repair.
  • Always position the fan on a stable and level surface.
  • Do not spray anything into the fan.
  • Do not use the fan near flammable substances or in areas where there is a risk of fire.
  • To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove any screws.
  • Do not insert fingers or other objects through the fan guard.
  •  Do not remain directly in the breeze created by the fan for long periods.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
  • Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE OPERATION

  1. Fan should be used only at rated voltage. This fan is designed for an AC220-240V 50Hz electric supply.
  2. Never insert fingers or any other object through the fan guard when the fan is running.
  3. Unplug when not in use, or when moving fan from one location to another, and before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
  4. Do not put your fingers through the openings. Do not let children put any objects into the front case.
  5. Do not use this fan outside or in a damp area such as a bathroom.
  6. Do not place the electrical cord under a cover. Do not overlay the cord with little covers or such elements. Place the cord in an area where there is no risk of stumbling.
  7. The fan must always be unplugged when not operating. To unplug the heater, all the switches must be on the position “OFF”, and then the plug could be disconnected.
  8. Do not operate the fan in an area where gasoline is used or stocked, painting or such flammable liquids.
  9. If you need to move the fan, switch off and unplug it.
  10. If you need maintenance, please send the fan back to the agent.
  11. No part of this fan must be replaced by the user.
  12. The fan should not be opened up by the user.
  13. Be sure not to allow water or other liquid to enter the inside of the motor.
  14. The fan must be placed on a flat surface.
  15. Need to check the power cord and plug is damaged regularly. If it’s damaged, the power cord or plug by the manufacturer or a qualified expert agency to avoid hazards.
  16. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

RATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Be sure the voltage of the fan conforms to local power conditions before use.
  2. Adjust the speed by pressing the switch: 0-Stop 1-Low 2-Medium 3-High.
  3. Adjust the tilt angle by moving the fan guard.

WARNING

THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. CLEANING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
  • Do not allow water to drip on or enter the fan housing.
  • Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution.
  • Do not use any of the following cleaners, petrol, thinner, benzene.
  • Always clean with a dry cloth. Ensure that the fan is switched off from the mains supply before removing the guard.

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority-differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. As a reminder of the need to dispose of household appliances separately, the product is marked with a crossed-outwheeled dustbin.
