  • Always install the roof with at least two adults.
  • The packaging materials are not intended for play. Remove all packaging out of reach of children.
  • Using the CABRIO canopy in accordance with the instructions in this manual eliminates virtually all hazards. However, keep in mind that children have a natural urge to play, and this can lead to unpredictable dangerous situations for which the manufacturer and seller cannot be held responsible.
  • Opening and closing the pool cover must always be done by adults.
  • Not suitable for children under 3 years; danger of entanglement / strangulation and pinching of hands, feet, fingers.
  • Ensure constant supervision! An adult must always supervise children when they use the pool.
  • Always use common sense when playing games and activities in and with water.
  • Never close the roof when someone is inside.
  • Do not swim or play in a fully enclosed canopy.
  • Prohibition of manipulation and use of the covered pool by persons who require supervision.
  • Always maintain a safety zone around the pool and roof of at least 2 meters around the pool with the roof and 2.5 meters above the highest point of the closed roof.
  • Keep hands and fingers away from moving parts of the roof.
  • To prevent damage or injury from possible wind gusts, the roof must always be fully opened and anchored.
  • Never hang anything on the canopy or use it as a storage space.
  • When maintaining water with chemical products, always make sure that the roofing or its parts are not damaged by careless handling due to incorrect use of chemicals. Never use excessive amounts of chemical products or concentrated chlorine.
  • Never leave the canopy unattended when it is partially open. In case of bad weather, open the roof and anchor it.
  • Do not use electrical equipment in or around the pool to avoid electric shock.
  • Warning: Failure to follow the safety and usage instructions may lead to accidents. Sometimes it results in extreme injury or even death.
  • Cabrio roofing is intended for private use only, not for commercial or public use.

Maintenance:

  • Prevent water retention in the roof when folded – risk of damage to the mica part.
  • Check the pool cover regularly for loose parts and tighten the screw connections if necessary.
  • Never use cleaning agents, brushes, wire brushes on the roof, but only cold water and a soft cloth.
  • The roofing material cannot withstand frost, so the roofing must be removed and stored in the off-season. Always make sure the roof is dry before storing. The roofing is intended for summer seasonal use only.
  • If any part of the roofing is visibly damaged, it is forbidden to use the roofing and it must be dismantled.

Assembly instructions

Before construction:

  • The Cabrio roof can be built separately or over an already standing facility (most often a swimming pool).
  • Construction must always be carried out on a level surface.
  • The package includes an anchoring set for both soft surfaces (clay) and hard surfaces (wood, concrete), so it is possible to build the roof on almost any subsurface.
  • It is very important to be aware of all the necessary distances and dimensions before starting construction.
  • A safety zone of at least 2 meters around the pool with a roof and 2.5 meters above the highest point of the closed roof must be observed.
  • Upon completion of construction, the roofing will have a circular floor plan with the diameter indicated on the packaging.
  • It is also necessary to realize what pool (or other equipment) you want to cover, for better orientation use the tables of the table below (these tables are also directly on the packaging).
  • Do not assemble the Cabrio roof in windy weather.

Anchors

  • Use the marking pins (part 10) to mark two opposite points where the anchors will be placed. Care must be taken to place them on the same straight line.
  • The distance of these points should correspond to the diameter of your roofing.
  • Depending on the type of surface on which the roof will be built, it is necessary to choose the type of anchor (parts 3,11).
  • Screw the roofing joints (part 4) to the anchors.
  • Make sure the anchors are at the correct angle and position.
  • Remember that the roofing joints will be attached to the anchors facing away from the pool.
  • Soft surface anchors must be driven into the ground straight and almost up to the joint, the pins on the joint should be easy to manipulate and should point upwards.
  • For installation on a hard substrate, the anchors are drilled/screwed into concrete/wood using screws and dowels (part 12). The pins on the joint should be easy to manipulate and point upwards.

Roof cover

  • Unfold the roofing domer (part 2).
  • Connect the individual parts to create 7 fiberglass rods (part 1).
  • Gradually insert all the rods into the tunnels in the roofing foil. Check that the rods protrude the same distance from both ends of the tunnel.

Roof construction

  • Attach the fiberglass rod extensions (part 5) to the ends of the fiberglass rods.
  • Then insert the rods with extensions into the individual joints on one side.
  • Then gently bend the rods in the roofing foil, and repeat the same on the other side. Be careful not to slip the bars.
  • With two people, close the canopy and turn off the dome.

Securing with the twist pegs

  • There are 6 holes around the perimeter of the roof.
  • In the places of the holes, screw the twin pegs – in the case of a soft surface, screw the twist pegs for the soft surface (part 6), in the case of a hard surface, the twist pegs for hard surface (part 7). For better handling, place foam pads (part 13) under the twist pegs.
  • By turning (unlocking) these twist pegs, you will be able to secure or release the roof.
  • For easier handling, tie the string (part 9) on the side perpendicular to the roofing joints.

With its help, you will be able to open or close the roof more easily.
