Proper Installation
Follow factory-recommended procedures for component removal and installation. Have the factory shop manual and any special tools ready for the process.

Installation Steps

• Step 1
  Unscrew the pin from the shackle and remove the four isolators from the pin using a 3/8 tool if needed.

• Step 2
  Select appropriate isolators based on bumper D-Ring mount thickness. Fit isolators between the bumper mount and shackle.

• Step 3
  Feed the pin through the shackle and isolators. Secure the pin by screwing it into the shackle.

• Step 4
  Tighten the pin using a 3/8 ratchet/chuck until secure. Ensure the pin is tight enough to prevent loosening by hand.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Begin by unpacking all items and inspecting for missing pieces or damage. If you have any concerns, please contact the company the product was purchased from. Extra hardware may be included with the product.

HARDWARE INCLUDED:

• (4) 1/8” Isolators
• (4) 3/16” Isolators
• (2) 7/16” Pin

STEP 1 | Unscrew the pin from the shackle and remove the four isolators from the pin. You may be able to do this by hand, if not use your 3/8” tool.

STEP 2 | Identify what isolators will be used by holding up the shackle and fitting the isolators between the outside of your bumper mount and the inside of the shackle.
NOTE: Different variations of isolators will be used based on the thickness of your bumper D-Ring mount. In our case, our 1” thick D-Ring mount accepted both 1/8” isolators.

STEP 3 | Once isolators have been selected, hold up the shackle and isolators, and feed the pin through the shackle.
Once it bottoms out, begin screwing it into the shackle.

STEP 4 | Using a 3/8” ratchet/chuck, being to tighten the pin into the shackle until secure. The pin should be tight enough that the pin cannot be loosened by hand.
NOTE: The opening in the pin may have some slack around a 3/8” rachet/chuck since it is also designed to be used with factory tyre changing posts (not all applications will work).

STEP 5 | Double check both pins are secure, and you are ready to put your new Elite Series D-Ring to the test!
