Proper installation of this kit required knowledge of the factory recommended procedures for removal and installation of original equipment components. We recommend that the factory shop manual and any special tools needed to service your vehicle be on hand during the installation. Inspect all contents of this package to make sure product is not damaged and all installation hardware has been included. If parts are missing from kit, please be prepared to provide the following information

Begin by unpacking all items and inspecting for missing pieces or damage. If you have any concerns, please contact the company the product was purchased from.

HARDWARE INCLUDED
(2) M6x15 Allen
(2) M6x30 Allen
(4) M6 Flat Washers
(4) M6 Nylon Lock Nuts
(2) M5x10
(2) M5 Flat Washers

STEP 1 | Remove the side trim pieces by pulling towards the rear of the vehicle.
These can be a little difficult to remove.
Use a trim clip to apply pressure to the clips behind the trim, while pulling on it, if necessary. STEP 2 | Remove the control cluster by pulling towards the rear of the vehicle to release the clips, and disconnect the wiring connector on the back.

STEP 3 | Slide the two M6x30 bolts through the dash mount and place it in the desired install location.
When it is adjusted as desired, use a 4mm allen bit to spin the bolts so they make marks on the dash for drilling.
Use a sharpie to mark the side mounting holes for drilling. STEP 4 | Remove the dash piece to prepare for drilling by removing the four bolts securing it using a 10mm socket.

STEP 5 | Drill out the marked holes using an 11/32” drill bit.

STEP 6 | Install the dash mount onto the dash piece using the provided M6 hardware with a 4mm allen bit and 10mm wrench.
The longer M6x30 hardware will be used for the top mounts and the shorter M6x15 hardware will be used to secure the sides. STEP 7 | Re-install the top dash piece using a 10mm socket and factory hardware. STEP 8 | Install the control cluster and dash trim by applying pressure until the clips are secured. STEP 9 | If desired, install the armsonto the dash mount using the provided M5 hardware and a 3mm allen bit. STEP 10 | Congrats! You are finished with the install of the 2010+ (5th Gen) Toyota 4Runner Dash Mount!
