Time to install this should only take about an hour and a half.
WARNINGS/CAUTIONS BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION
Before you install this kit — Read and understand all instructions, warnings,
cautions, and notes contained in this installation instruction guide. Consult
your vehicle owner’s manual for proper disconnection of electrical and lifting
of vehicle if required for installation of this product.
This install may require some technical skills and knowledge of basic
mechanical work. If you do not feel that you are capable of performing this
install please take this product to a trained professional.

Proper installation of this kit required knowledge of the factory recommended
procedures for removal and installation of original equipment components. We
recommend that the factory shop manual and any special tools needed to service
your vehicle be on hand during the installation. Installation of this kit
without proper knowledge of the factory recommended procedures may affect the
performance of these components and the safety of the vehicle

Inspect all contents of this package to make sure product is not damaged and all installation hardware has been included. If parts are missing from kit, please be prepared to provide the following information
- Name of purchase location

- Date above bar code

Begin by unpacking all items and inspecting for missing pieces or damage. If you have any concerns, please contact the company the product was purchased from. Extra hardware may be included with the product.

(8) M8 Nuts
(4) M8 Flat Washers (Wide)

STEP 1 | Remove factory steps or sliders, if equipped, prior to beginning
installation of DV8 OE Plus Side Steps.
On some vehicles, slight drilling may be required to fit DV8 steps properly.
To determine if drilling is necessary, align the slider with the vehicle and
insert the studs at the rear of the step into the holeson the pinch weld.
Then line-up the middle and front studs and check if they can be slid into
place. If the fitment is very close, a bit of force can help manipulate the
studs into place.
If they will not slide into place even with some force applied, remove the
sliders and set off to the side to prepare for drilling.
Note: Assistance is recommended to prevent injury and damage to the
product or vehicle.
STEP 2 | Drill out the front mounting holes on the pinch weld using an 11/32”
drill bit.
If necessary, step up to a slightly larger drill bit, but for our application
an 11/32” drill bit was enough to get our studs through the pinch weld.
STEP 3 | Re-install the steps by guiding the studs through the pinch welds.
Secure the steps main mounting brackets to the body of the vehicle using the
provided M8 hardware with a 13mm socket.
Use the wider M8 washers with this hardware.
STEP 4 | Secure the steps to the pinch welds using the remaining provided M8
hardware with a 10mm wrench/socket.
STEP 5 | Congrats! You are finished with the install of the 07-18 Jeep
Wrangler JK OE Plus Side Steps.
