Tools required for removal and installation of climate control module:
- Flat-blade screwdriver or pick
- Phillips head screwdriver

Removal Instructions
STEP 1: Remove the climate control module from the instrument panel.

STEP 2: Using a flat-blade screwdriver or a pick, pull the knobs out of the climate control module. There are inserts in the knobs which may come out with the knobs, or may need to be removed separately.
STEP 3: Using a flat-blade screwdriver or pick, release the eight tabs holding the back on to the climate control module.
STEP 4: Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the lights at the indicated positions.

STEP 5: Using a Phillips head screwdriver, screw the new lights into those positions.
STEP 6: Remove the electronics board, and then remove the knob contacts, paying attention to the placement of the contacts. The knob contacts with five contacts is on the end, and the one with two contacts is in the middle. If necessary, remove the plungers (indicated by arrows); new plungers are included in this kit.

Installation Instructions
STEP 1: Apply dielectric grease (included in this kit) to the new knob contacts, before placing them in position.
STEP 2: Make sure the new knob contacts go in the correct positions, and make sure the plungers come in contact with the grooves on the knob contacts.
STEP 3: Apply dielectric grease to both terminals.

STEP 4: Replace the electronics board, and then replace the back of the climate control module. Securely snap the clips for the back into place.
STEP 5: If any inserts came out of the knobs, make sure they are put back in before reinstalling.

STEP 6: Put the knobs back into place. Then, reinstall the climate control module into the instrument panel.
