- Step 6: Secure the dipstick tube in place using the provided bracket.
Note: Use a wrench that fits over the tube without bending it to apply downward force during installation.

IMPORTANT: Applying excessive force may cause breakage.
- STEP 1: Remove old dipstick tube.
- STEP 2: Ensure mating hole is free of all debris and corrosion.
- STEP 3 : If the dipstick tube has an O-ring, lubricate it with clean engine oil before installation.
- STEP 4 : Orient dipstick tube to align with mating hole.
- STEP 5 : Grasp dipstick tube at flange above the O-ring and apply downward pressure until the flange is fully seated against mating surface.
- NOTE : To aid in installation, select a wrench that is just large enough to fit over the tube (but not the flared section near the base of the tube) to allow downward force to be exerted without bending the tube.
