Product Usage Instructions

Setup Vehicle for Programming:

  1. Open the driver’s door.
  2. Without your foot on the brake pedal, press the start/stop button twice to the ON position.
  3. Turn Hazard light ON.
  4. Plug the programmer into the OBD II port located under the steering wheel.
  5. The programmer will beep twice.
  6. Press the start/stop button to the OFF position.
  7. The programmer will beep once.

Programming Remotes:

  1. Hold the remote in front of the start/stop button.
  2. Without your foot on the brake pedal, press the button once and continue to hold the remote in front of the start/stop button.
  3. The red car light in the instrument cluster will flash 5 times.
  4. Press the start/stop button to the OFF position.

To program additional remotes, repeat steps 8 through 10. All existing and new remotes for the vehicle must be programmed at this time.

Closing Out Programming:

  1. Without your foot on the brake pedal, press the start/stop button to the ON position.
  2. Press the start/stop button to the OFF position.
  3. The message in the instrument cluster should say Key Registration Complete.
  4. Test the functionality of each remote by starting the vehicle. If programming has failed, restart the instructions from the beginning.

NOTE: The programming tool will deactivate after 4 programming sessions.

REMOVAL/INSTALL OF KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTE (99367) Nissan Altima 2016–13

GENERAL TECH TIP

  • Rushing the procedure will require 30 second removal of negative battery cable!
  • All remotes must be present at time of programming.
  • One programmed remote required at time of programming.
  • Programmer will expire after 5 attempts.
  • Due to the programming process being sensitive to voltage drops, it is recommended that a battery charger is hooked up to the vehicle before beginning the programming process.

Programming Instructions
