Product Usage Instructions
Setup Vehicle for Programming:
- Open the driver’s door.
- Without your foot on the brake pedal, press the start/stop button twice to the ON position.
- Turn Hazard light ON.
- Plug the programmer into the OBD II port located under the steering wheel.
- The programmer will beep twice.
- Press the start/stop button to the OFF position.
- The programmer will beep once.
Programming Remotes:
- Hold the remote in front of the start/stop button.
- Without your foot on the brake pedal, press the button once and continue to hold the remote in front of the start/stop button.
- The red car light in the instrument cluster will flash 5 times.
- Press the start/stop button to the OFF position.
To program additional remotes, repeat steps 8 through 10. All existing and new remotes for the vehicle must be programmed at this time.
Closing Out Programming:
- Without your foot on the brake pedal, press the start/stop button to the ON position.
- Press the start/stop button to the OFF position.
- The message in the instrument cluster should say Key Registration Complete.
- Test the functionality of each remote by starting the vehicle. If programming has failed, restart the instructions from the beginning.
NOTE: The programming tool will deactivate after 4 programming sessions.

GENERAL TECH TIP
- Rushing the procedure will require 30 second removal of negative battery cable!
- All remotes must be present at time of programming.
- One programmed remote required at time of programming.
- Programmer will expire after 5 attempts.
- Due to the programming process being sensitive to voltage drops, it is recommended that a battery charger is hooked up to the vehicle before beginning the programming process.
Programming Instructions
