Product Usage Instructions
Before Installation:
Read the instructions carefully before starting the installation. Remove
contents from the box and verify all parts are present. Failure to identify
damage before installation could lead to a rejection of any claim. If missing
parts or any damage is found, please take a picture for the claim purpose.
Step 1: Passenger/Right Side Installation
- Start the installation under the passenger/right side of the vehicle. Locate the (4) factory running board mounting locations along the bottom and inner side of the body panel.
- The installation will use the 1st, 2nd, and 4th mounting locations. Brackets must be installed flat against inner sheet metal, remove sealant or undercoating as necessary.
Step 2:
- Remove rubber plugs from the front location.
- Select (2) 8mm Clip Nuts and slide each Clip Nut into the large hole and over the smaller hole next to it.
- Line up the threaded nut on the Clip Nut with the smaller hole in the body panel.
Step 3:
Select (1) Passenger/Right Mounting Bracket B and attach the bracket to the
(2) Clip Nuts with (2) 8mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (2) 8mm Lock Washers, and (2) 8mm
Flat Washers. Do not fully tighten the hardware.
Step 6:
Locate the rear mounting location at the back of the cab. Repeat Steps 1-3 to
install the (2) Clip Nuts and remaining Mounting Bracket B in the last
mounting location.

Refer to the D or P labelling on the tubes to determine the Driver or
Passenger side steps.
PROCEDURE:
REMOVE CONTENTS FROM THE BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ASSISTANCE IS RECOMMENDED.
INSTALLATION
STEP 1
Start the installation under the passenger/right side of the vehicle. Locate
the (4) factory running board mounting locations along the bottom and inner
side of the body panel (Figs 1 & 2). NOTE: Installation will use the 1st, 2nd
and 4th mounting locations.
NOTE: Brackets must be installed flat against inner sheet metal, remove sealant or undercoating as necessary.

STEP 2
Remove rubber plugs from the front location (Fig 2). Select (2) 8mm Clip Nuts.
Slide each Clip Nut into the large hole and over the smaller hole next to it.
Line up the threaded nut on the Clip Nut with a smaller hole in the body panel
(Fig 3).

STEP 3
Select (1) Passenger/Right Mounting Bracket B (Fig 4). Attach the Bracket to
the (2) Clip Nuts with (2) 8mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (2) 8mm Lock Washers and (2)
8mm Flat Washers (Fig 5). DO NOT fully tighten the hardware.

STEP 4
Move to the next mounting location along the body. Repeat STEPS 1 & 2 to
install the Clip Nuts in the 2nd mounting location (Fig 2).
STEP 5
Select (1) Passenger/Right Mounting Bracket (FB in 4). Repeat STEP 3 to attach
the Bracket to the 2nd (centre) mounting location (Fig 6).

STEP 6
Next, locate the rear mounting location at the back of the cab. Repeat STEPS
1-3 to install the (2) Clip Nuts and remaining Mounting Bracket B in the last
mounting location (Fig 7).

STEP 7
Carefully unwrap the TYGER LanderX. Select the Passenger/Right TYGER LanderX.
Note “P” on the back of the tube. Carefully position the Side Step up to the
(3) Brackets. IMPORTANT: DO NOT slide, (front to back or rotate), the TYGER
LanderX against the Brackets or damage to the finish may result. Attach the
TYGER LanderX to the Brackets with (6) 8mm x 25mm Combo Hex Bolt assemblies
(Figs 8-12). DO NOT fully tighten the hardware.

STEP 8
Level and adjust the TYGER LanderX and tighten all hardware.
STEP 9
Repeat STEPS 1-8 for driver/left TYGER LanderX installation.
STEP 10
Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is
secure and tight.
