Wall luminaire for indoor use
Instructions for use
Application
Free radiating wall luminaire · indoor luminaire with hand-blown three-ply
opal glass for a soft and uniform light distribution.
The elongated design of this wall luminaire particulary provides suitability
for installation on pillars, columns and for the front surface of walls, as
well as for recesses or profiles.
The luminaire may be installed horizontally or vertically.

Safety
The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national
safety regulations.
Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or
installation.
If subsequent modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the manufacturer.
Overvoltage protection
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547.
To achieve an additional protection against e. g. transients, etc. we
recommend separate overvoltage protection components.

Installation
LED are high-quality electronic components!
Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during
installation or relamping.
Undo hexagon socket (wrench size 5) in the locking cap and remove it.
The opal glass can now be hinged together with the electrical equipment to the front.
Remove opal glass.
Note position of application of the luminaire »arrow down«.
Drill mounting holes into the mounting surface
– spacing 300 mm and turn in enclosed or suitable fixing screws.
For the electrical connection undo the screw connection at the line connector and remove terminal block.
Make earth conductor connection and electrical connection.
Make connection of the phase with the L marked, the neutral wire at the N marked and earth conductor at the PE marked connecting terminal.
For digital actuation please use the two connecting terminals DA. If these terminals are not assigned, the luminaire will work with full light output.
Bolt together both screw cable glands firmly.
Hook luminaire into the fixing screws and tighten.
Slide opal glass over the lamp and fasten with the locking cap.
Make sure that the gaskets are positioned correctly.
Cleaning · Maintenance
Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.
Defective glass must be replaced.
Replacement of the LED module
The designation of the LED module is noted on a separate label in the
luminaire or on the underside of the specific LED module.
The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to
those of the modules originally fitted.
The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
Defective glass must be replaced.
Close the luminaire.
