OPERATION

Before First Use

  • Before using the appliance for the first time, read this user guide and ensure you are familiar with the assembly, operation and cleaning and care.
  • Wash all removable parts in warm water with a mild detergent. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly and operation.

Using the Mixing Bowl

  1. Ensure all parts and accessories are clean and dry.
  2. Place the stand mixer on a flat and stable surface.
  3. Set the speed selector to “0” and ensure that the stand mixer is not connected to power when mounting the bowl and accessories. Press the release button and position the mixer head vertically.
  4. Place the bowl in the bracket on the stand mixer, turning it clockwise until securely attached.
  5. Attach the desired accessory (beater, dough hook, or whisk) to the output shaft. Press the accessory upward and turn it clockwise to secure it on the shaft.
  6. Add ingredients, being careful not to exceed the stand mixer’s maximum capacity of 1000g. Press the release button to lower the mixer head. Note: Keep your hand on the mixer head when lowering it into the bowl.
  7. Plug the appliance into the electrical outlet.
  8. Switch on the stand mixer by turning the speed selector to the desired speed (1-8), or use the “Pulse” function. Refer to “Recommended Speed Settings”. Note: Always ensure there are ingredients in the bowl before starting the stand mixer.
  9. Follow the recipe instructions. After mixing/kneading, set the speed selector to 0 and disconnect the plug from the outlet.
  10. Press the release button, place the mixer head vertically, and remove the accessory.
  11. Remove the bowl from the bracket by turning it counterclockwise.
  12. Clean the parts as described in the “Cleaning & Clear” section.
  13. If the appliance stops due to a sudden power failure or other reasons, turn the speed selector to “0” and then switch speeds to restart the stand mixer.
  14. When using the stand mixer, if the back cover (9) does not fit, the appliance will be inoperable.

Note: When handling dense dough types, ensure that the appliance operates for no more than 10 minutes consecutively. After this period, allow the mixer to cool to room temperature.

Setting the Speed

  • Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet and turn it on. It is advised to initiate operation at the lowest speed and gradually increase the speed. Refer to the table below for recommended speed settings.
  • For brief intervals, utilize the “Pulse” function. Keep the switch in the “pulse” position to activate it. Once the switch is released, the kitchen machine comes to a halt.
  • Employ the “Pulse” function to prevent excessive mixing duration.

Recommended Speed Settings
The guide below provides recommendations for speed settings. Begin at speed 1 and incrementally raise the speed as specified in the recipe. Note: Generally, the operation time for speeds 1 and 2 is around 15-30 seconds.

Recipe Tool Speed
Cakes (ready-made & homemade) Beater 5 or 6
Shortcrust pastry Beater 5 or 6
Mashed potatoes Beater 5 or 6
Glazes Beater 5 or 6
Egg whites (for meringues etc.) Whisk 8 or “Pulse”
Whipped cream Whisk 7 or 8
Gelatine desserts Whisk 1
Bread, heavy dough Dough hook 1 – 3

Using the Mixer Accessories

  • Begin by placing all liquid ingredients into the bowl and then add the dry ingredients. Always remain near the kitchen machine during use. Add ingredients close to the sides of the bowl, avoiding direct placement into the rotating tool.
  • For cake mixtures, use speed 3. Follow the recommended time on the package for optimal mixing results.
  • Mixtures with a significant liquid content should be processed at low speed to prevent splashing. Gradually increase the speed as the mixture thickens.
  • When working with thin types of dough, opt for medium speed. Periodically switch off the kitchen machine to clean the sides using a spatula.
  • Shortcrust pastry, being one of the thickest dough types, can be made easier by:
    • Adding room temperature butter or margarine.
    • Introducing ingredients one at a time and ensuring thorough mixing before adding a new ingredient.
    • Adding one cup of flour at a time.
  • If difficulties arise in mixing the dough, increase the speed. In case something becomes stuck in the tool or the motor stops inadvertently, turn off the machine, unplug it from the power socket, resolve the issue, or reduce the amount in the bowl. Allow the motor to cool for 5 minutes before restarting the appliance.
  • Use the whisk for whipping egg whites, cream, and similar items. Avoid using the whisk for thick mixtures like dough and mashed potatoes.
  • When whipping egg whites or cream, ensure there are at least 2 egg whites or 1 cup of cream in the bowl.

Blender Function

  • The blender can be used for pureeing very finely and for blending.
  • It can be used to make dishes such as soups, sauces, milkshakes, baby food, vegetables, batters, purees, etc.
  • If necessary, cut solid ingredients into smaller pieces before placing them in the blender.

  4. To remove the glass jar rotate is counter-clockwise and lift it off the motor base.

Recommended Speed Settings
The guide below provides recommendations for speed settings.

Use Speed
Light usage with liquids 1-7
More solid consistency – for mixing liquids and solid ingredients 8 or Turbo
stop operation 0

Important:

  • Do not insert the plug into the electrical outlet until you have attached the blender jar and the jar lid correctly.
  • After use, unplug the appliance before you remove the blender jar from the housing.
  • Do not fill the blender jar with ingredients that are hotter than 80°C.
  • Never remover the jar lid while the blender is running.
  • Always cover the blender lid before mounting the blender jar onto the machine or dismounting the blender jar from the machine.
  • Do not operate the blender attachment more than 2 minutes. Allow the machine to cool for 15 minutes after a full continuous 2-minute cycle.

Tips:

  • To achieve optimal results when pureeing solid ingredients, place small portions into the glass jar one by one instead of adding a large quantity all at once.
  • When processing solid ingredients, cut them into small pieces (2-3cm) first. The maximum quantity of carrots should not exceed 400g. Then, add water; the total weight must be less than 600g.
  • When mixing solid ingredients, start with a small amount of liquid initially. Gradually add more liquid through the opening in the lid.
  • Always keep your hand on top of the blender when operating the device.
  • When stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients, the brand recommends using the blender in impulse mode to prevent the blades from becoming stuck.
