Product Usage Instructions

• Connecting Your Device:
  • Remove the stickers and place the earbuds back in the case.
  • Close the case door; blue lights indicate charging.
  • Remove earbuds from the case; one earbud blinking blue/white indicates readiness to pair.
  • Select “JLab Hear” in your Bluetooth device settings.
• Controls:
  • Hearing Aid Controls:
  • Left Earbud: Volume change (Press and Hold), Sound mode change (2x Press)
  • Right Earbud: Volume change (Press and Hold), Sound mode change (2x Press)
• Sound Modes:
  • Loud Environment: Decreases surrounding noise and white noise.
  • Restaurant: Decreases background noises in crowded environments.
  • Conversation: Enhances voices facing you.
  • Quiet Environment: Enhances all noises for clear surroundings and voices.
  • Bluetooth Media Controls: Play/Pause (1x Press), Volume Down (Press and Hold), TrackBack (2x Press), Answer/Hang Up (2x Press)
• Fitting:
  • Cush FinTM: Provides a secure fit.
  • Closed Ear Tips: Seals for a more focused sound.
  • Open Ear Tips: Allows all sounds in for a more natural sound.
• Charging:
  • Earbuds: Automatically power off and start charging when placed in the case; blue lights indicate charging.
  • Charging Case: Connect the charging cable to a computer or USB-C charging device; LEDs pulse white when charging and turn solid white when fully charged.
  • Hearing Aid Only Mode: (Does not connect to Bluetooth and improves battery life)
  • In Case: Press and hold for 3+ seconds; earbuds will blink white.
  • Out of Case: Press and hold for 3+ seconds; earbuds will blink blue.
  • Download the App: Customize JLab Hear and update to the latest software by downloading the JLab Hearing Health App from the Apple/Google Play Store.

FAQs

• Q: What should I do if my earbuds are not connecting to my device?
  • A: Make sure the earbuds are correctly placed in the case, and check if the Bluetooth settings on your device are enabled. You can also try resetting the earbuds by placing them back in the case for a few seconds.
• Q: How do I switch between different sound modes?
  • A: Use the controls on the respective earbuds to change sound modes. Press and hold for volume change and double press for sound mode change.

CONNECT YOUR DEVICE

( Don’t need Bluetooth? Follow steps 1-2 and turn to page 3 for Hearing Aid Only Mode.)

1. Remove stickers. Place earbuds back in the case and close the door.
2. Blue lights on the case indicate charging.
3. Remove earbuds from the case. One earbud blinks blue/white = Ready to Pair
4. Select “JLab Hear” in your Bluetooth device settings.

CHARGING EARBUDS

Earbuds will power OFF and start charging when placed in the case. Blue lights = Earbuds charging
