Bluetooth HID Mode

Step 1. The Bluetooth HID mode is a Bluetooth keyboard. When you scan the barcode, the data will be output at the cursor of the text.

The blue LED of your device is fast blinking. This means that the device is in pairing mode (HID mode).

Bluetooth SPP Mode

The Bluetooth SPP mode is a Bluetooth serial port. You need a Bluetooth serial port software for data transmission. The SPP mode can also use the serial port software to send commands to the scanner. We provide Android
Keyboard Pro App to help you convert serial data into keyboard data, which can output data at the cursor, or you can use it to send commands.

Step 1. Please scan Bluetooth SPP Mode barcode;

The blue LED of your scanner is slow blinking. This means that the device is in pairing mode (SPP mode).

Step 2. Please open the application and Turn on Bluetooth’ then please change the keyboard with Generalscan Keyboard.

Bluetooth BLE Mode

The Bluetooth BLE mode is a Low Energy protocol after the Bluetooth 4.0 protocol. You need a BLE software for data transmission. The BLE mode can also use the BLE software to send commands to the scanner. We provide
Android Keyboard Pro App to help you convert BLE data into keyboard data, which can output data at the cursor, or you can use it to send commands.

Step 1. Please scan Bluetooth BLE Mode barcode;

The blue LED of your scanner is 2 fast and 1 slow blinking. This means that the device is in pairing mode (BLE mode).

Step 2. Please open the application and ‘Turn on Bluetooth’ then please change the keyboard with Generalscan Keyboard.

Step 3. Please click to ‘Connect Scanner’,

Step 5. Please click to ‘Go select’

Step 6. Choose your ‘Barcode Scanner’

USB-HID Mode
The USB-HID mode is a USB keyboard. When you scan the barcode, the data will be output at the cursor of the text.

Step 1. Please scan USB-HID Mode barcode;

Step 2. Then connect your device to your computer with the USB cable that comes in the box.

Step 3. When your connection is successfull, you will hear 3 beeps from your barcode scanner. After that, you can open a text file or your own software on your computer and display your data at the tip of the cursor.

USB-VCP Mode
To use the VCP Mode (Virtual COM Port), you can scan the barcode below

Bluetooth SPP Master Mode
You can scan the barcode below to use the Bluetooth SPP Master Mode.
For wider bluetooth distance, you can use this mode. You will need a Bluetooth dongle D100BT-Plus to use this mode. You can purchase the Bluetooth dongle by scanning the QR code below with your Phone’s camera.

Suffix Settings

You can Enable or Disable the suffix by scanning the following barcodes

Offline Storage Mode
Offline storage mode is for storing scanned barcodes in the scanner when Bluetooth is not connected, and can then be uploaded uniformly.
You can enable or disable offline storage mode by scanning the following barcodes.

You can get the number of stored barcodes and clear the stored records by scanning the barcodes on the next page. Also you can upload barcodes at different speeds by scanning the barcodes on the next page.

Auto-Trigger Mode
You can turn on auto-trigger mode at different intervals, and autotrigger mode does not go into hibernation.

DFU Mode
Please scan the barcode below to switch to Device Firmware Update mode.
After scanning this barcode, make sure that the blue and green LEDs of your device are constantly lit in sequence.

To download the software for upgrade application to your phone, you can scan the QR Code below with your phone’s camera and access the application on our website. Only for Android.

For leaving DFU mode, please restart your scanner.
For R5000BT series, press 10 sec. to the trigger button.
