Product Description
The Electrical Enclosure provides secure housing for electronic components with its durable ABS Polylac material and IP67 ingress protection, suitable for various applications.
Installation Steps
- About Mounting Plate Installation
- Place the mounting plate into the enclosure, aligning each corner’s mounting holes.
- Secure the mounting plate with tapping screws. You can then attach a DIN rail or other electrical components to the plastic mounting plate.
- About Cable Gland Installation We provide NPT 3/8 & 1/2 plastic cable glands. Use a hole opener machine to create holes in the enclosure body for cable input & output connections. Install the cable gland accordingly.
- About Wall Mounting Parts Installation Utilize the provided stainless steel wall mounting parts and tap screws to securely attach the enclosure to a wall.

CAG series is a new type of electric plastic box, it is made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene(ABS)plastic, waterproof grade to IP67, impact resistance to IK08 level. The characteristic of the CHIMEI brand D190 ABS polylac is high strength,excellent impact resistance, good toughness, ease to process and shape,etc. so that it achieves a high resistance and mechanical stiffness (IK08). Compared with the metal box, the CAG series is only 1/4 of the weight of the metal box, and is more suitable for corrosion and humid environment and other advantages.

INSTALLATION STEPS
About Mounting Plate Installation
- put the mounting plate into the enclosure, and align each corner’s mounting holes.
- Adopts matched tapping screws to fix the mounting plate into the enclosure. See Figure 1.
- Adopts screws, you can fix din rail or other electric parts on the plastic mounting plate.
About Cable Gland Installation
We equip with NPT 3/8″ & 1/2″ plastic cable glands, each for 1pcs. You can
adopt hole opener machine holes on the enclosure body’s right position, and
install the cable gland on the enclosure to meet the cable input & output
connection.See Figure 2.
The cable glands’ specifications are as follows:
- NPT 3/8″cable gland:cable range:6-10mm,machine holes size:diameter 17.5~18mm;
- ZNPT 1/2″cable gland:cable range:8-14mm,machine holes size:diameter 21.5~22mm;
About Wall Mounting Parts Installation
We are equipped with 4pcs stainless steel wall mounting parts. See Figure 3. you can adopt matched tapping screws to fix the wall mounting parts on the enclosure.
You can select two proposals to mount the enclosure on the wall as follows:
- Proposal A1:horizontal install wall mounting parts on the enclosure, See Figure 4. related wall mounting distance A1 is shown on the above specification data sheet.
- Proposal A2:vertical install wall mounting parts on the enclosure, See Figure 5. related wall mounting distance A2 is shown on the above specification data sheet.
