Product Usage Instructions

SECTION B – Power Up & Bluetooth Pairing

1. Plug the BTFREQ into your car’s 12V power socket.
2. Enter the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and enable Bluetooth.
3. Select “Scosche BTFM9” from the list of available accessories.
4. Once connected, ensure your device is set to maximum volume.

SECTION C – Connecting to your Car’s Stereo
Find a weak station on your FM radio with no active broadcast signal. Press the CH button and tune the BTFREQ to match your FM radio frequency. If interference occurs, find a different clear station by repeating the steps.

SECTION D – Reconnect to your Device & 3.5mm AUX OUT Connection

• Reconnect: Transmitter Off: Automatically reconnects when powered on. Transmitter On: Tap Multi-Function Button (MFB) once if not automatically reconnecting.
• Optional AUX OUT Connection: Use a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect the source unit to the BTFREQ through the AUX OUT port.

SECTION B – Power Up & Bluetooth Pairing

1. Plug the BTFREQ into your car’s 12V power socket.
2. Enter the Bluetooth settings in your mobile device and enable the Bluetooth function. From the list of available accessories, fifind and select the “Scosche BTFM9”.
3. Your phone will confifirm once it is connected. Once connected, ensure your device is set to maximum volume.

SECTION C

Connecting to your Car’s Stereo
Find a weak station on your FM radio that has no active broadcast signal.

Press the “CH” button (1), then turn the tuning knob to the left (2) or right (3) to tune the BTFREQ to match the frequency of your FM radio.
If you experience interference you may have entered an area where there is an active broadcast signal on the station you are tuned to. Repeat the above steps to fifind a different clear station.

Note : Press “CH” button to change frequencies on BTFREQ (1) .

Reconnect to your Device

• Transmitter Off: Once paired, the transmitter will automatically reconnect when powered on.
• Transmitter On: Reconnect – Tap Multi-Function Button (MFB) once (*)

*Note: Only tap MFB if the transmitter does not automatically reconnect.

Optional AUX OUT Connection
The source unit can be connected to the BTFREQ through the AUX OUT port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).

Streaming Music
Stream music using the music player on your phone. You can use the controls on the BTFREQ to control the music settings:

• Play/Pause – Tap the MFB once
• Track Forward – Turn tuning knob right
• Track Back – Turn tuning knob left

Making a Call
Use your mobile phone to make a call as you normally would. Phone call audio will automatically stream through the BTFREQ.

• Hang Up – Tap the MFB once
• Redial last number called – Double tap MFB

SECTION G

Receiving a Call

• Phone call will come in through the BTFREQ.
• Press MFB once to answer the call
• Press MFB once to end the call
• Press MFB twice to reject the call

Voice Assistant Activation
Press and hold the Multi-function button for 3 seconds to activate your smartphone’s voice assistant.

Dual-Port USB Charger
Your BTFREQ PRO includes (1) USB-C port and (1) USB-A port to charge your devices while driving. Simply connect using a cable suitable for your device (not included).
