SPECIFICATIONS

  • Input: 12-15VDC = 25A
  • AC Output:11 OVAC, 60Hz, 200W = 1.8A
  • USB Outputs 1 & 2:5VDC = 2.4A Total
  • USB Outputs 3 & 4:5VDC = 2.4A Total

USING THE Pl200PS

  • Preliminary: Make sure your 12V socket is in working condition. Plug the 12VDC power cable into your 12V socket.
  • Use the power switch to turn on the PI200PS. The LED will illuminate green to confirm the unit is on.

LED INDICATOR (Green LED = Power On / Red LED = Power Protection Mode)

The unit will enter power protection mode in the following conditions:

  • Low Input Voltage – when the input voltage drops below 10-11 VDC.
  • High Input Voltage – when the input voltage exceeds 15-16VDC.
  • Thermal Protection – when the internal temperature exceeds 185°F (85°C).
  • Overload Protection – when a consistent load exceeds 232W or USB output current exceeds 7 .1 A.
  • When the PI200PS enters power protection mode it will automatically reset once the unit’s conditions return to normal.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Warning: The output of this device is 11 OVAC, the same as a typical wall outlet.
  • We recommend the following precautions when using this device to prevent personal injury.
  • Do not insert foreign objects into the AC outlet or ventilation openings in the inverter.
  • Do not place the power inverter near any flammable materials, fumes or gasses.
  • Do not open the inverter; there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  • Do not expose the inverter to moisture.
  • This device is not a toy. Keep the power inverter and its parts away from children.
  • Do not leave the power inverter unattended while in use.
  • Always disconnect the power inverter when not in use.
  • Additionally, the following guidelines will help ensure proper operation and prevent damage to the inverter.
  • Do not block any of the ventilation openings on the Pl200PS.
  • Do not place it in a glove box, console or other small enclosure with poor air circulation.
  • Do not place the inverter on or near heating vents or any equipment that generates heat.
  • Avoid exposure to heat from direct sunlight.
  • Do not use the inverter outdoors.
