Product Usage Instructions
Unpacking:
- Follow the instructions provided in the Quick Start Guide for unpacking the UPS unit.
Battery Charging:
- It is recommended to charge the batteries for at least eight hours to ensure maximum capacity. If using software, connect the USB cable to the UPS’s USB port.
Connecting Devices:
- To protect a fax, telephone line, or network cable, connect them to the input socket of the UPS and then connect another cable from the output socket of the UPS to the device.
Communication Ports:
- The UPS features communication ports to protect standard modems, fax machines, telephone lines, or network cables from voltage surges.
Power Connection:
Connect the UPS to a power source using the appropriate power cable for your region (e.g., Schuko or UK plug).
Circuit Breaker and Power LED:
- Make sure the circuit breaker is in the correct position and check the power on LED indicator to ensure the UPS is functioning properly.

- DO NOT USE WITH MEDICAL OR LIFE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT!
- To prevent the risk of fire or electrical shock, install in a temperature and humidity-controlled indoor area, free of conductive contaminants.
- To avoid an electrical shock, turn off the unit and disconnect it from the AC power source, before servicing the battery or installing a computer component.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
Recharging the battery for at least 8 hours is recommended to ensure that the battery’s maximum charge capacity is achieved. If you will use the software, connect the USB cable to the USB port on the UPS. To protect a fax, telephone, modem line, or network cable, connect a telephone cable or network cable from the wall jack outlet to the IN jack of the UPS. Then connect a telephone cable or network cable from the OUT jack on the UPS to the modem, router, computer, telephone, fax machine, or network device.
