Thank you for purchasing the Neochef® Induction Hob. To ensure that you get the very best from your product, please read the following instructions before use. Please keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
WARNING
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
- Before using the Neochef® Induction Hob for the first time, please be certain to read these instructions carefully.
- Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with that of the local supply before connecting the appliance to the power supply.
- This Neochef® Induction Hob can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children should not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- If the supplied cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a competent person only.
- The Neochef® Induction Hob is intended for indoor, domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial applications.
- This appliance contains no user serviceable parts. All repairs should only be carried out by a qualified person. Improper repairs may place the user at risk of harm and will invalidate any guarantee.
- Always use this appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Do not use near to other heat sources such as ovens or hobs.
- Do not move the unit when the pot or the pan is on it.
- Do not heat the pot empty or overheat the pot.
- Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminium foils on the top plate.
- Use the unit with sufficient space around it. Keep the front side and either right or left side of the unit clear
- Do not use the unit on carpet or tablecloth (vinyl) or any other low-heat-resistant article.
- Do not place a sheet of paper between the pot or the pan and the unit. The paper may get burnt.
- If the surface is cracked, please switch off and take to the service centre immediately.
- Do not block the air intake or exhaust vent.
- Do not touch the top plate right after removing the pot or the pan, as the top plate will still be very hot.
- Do not place the unite close to the objects which are affected by magnet, such as: radios, televisions, automatic-banking cards and cassette tapes.
- Keep the appliance, power cord, and plug away from flames or hot areas.
- Ensure that the power cord is kept away from heat or sharp edges that could cause damage. Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the work surface or tabletop.
- The Neochef® Induction Hob is not intended for use with an external timer or remote-control system.
- Take care not to damage the power cord by pinching or contact with sharp edges. Check the appliance regularly for any possible damage. If you see signs of possible damage to the power cord, do not use the appliance.
- Do not operate the appliance after a malfunction or if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
- Do not submerge the appliance; plug or power cord in water or any other liquids. Do not handle the appliance or plug with damp or wet hands.
- Keep the appliance and cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces of the Neochef® Induction Hob will be high during use. Do not touch hot surfaces. We strongly recommend the use of protective oven gloves when using this appliance.
- Do not cover the appliance when in use. It could overheat and catch fire.
- Parts of the appliance get very hot in use. Do not store or cover the appliance until it has fully cooled down.
- Clean the appliance and other accessories after each use. Refer to the Cleaning and maintenance section on page 5.
- No liability can be taken for any damage or harm that occurs in the event of improper use or incorrect handling.
- This product is not suitable for people with pacemakers.
Operation Instructions
Power on
- Insert the mains plug into a mains socket and switch on at the socket. A beep will sound, and the LED will display “—-“, to indicate that power is applied.
- Add contents for heating to suitable cookware and place within the centre of the heating zone.
- Press the ON/OFF button, the LED will illuminate “ON”. The cooker will be on standby mode.
- The cooking is controlled by the temperature control. The default power is 1300W. Use the “+” and “- “controls to increase or decrease the required power. The following
power settings are available:

Switch Off
- When you have finished cooking press the ON/OFF button wait until you hear the cooling fan stop, then disconnect from the mains.
TYPES OF PANS THAT CAN BE USED
- Usable Pans Steel, cast iron, enamelled iron, stainless steel, flat-bottom pans/pots with diameter from 12 to 26cm.
- Non-usable Pans Heat-resistant glass, ceramic container, copper, aluminum pans/pots. Rounded-bottom pans/pots with bottom measuring less than 12cm.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Disconnect plug and wait until the unit is cooled down completely. Clean after using every time.
- If the pots/pans are used without being cleaned, this may cause discoloration or cooked on stains.
- Do not use benzine, thinner, scrubbing brush or polishing powder to clean the induction cooker.
- Wipe using dish washing soap and damp cloth.
- Use vacuum cleaner to suck up dirt from the air intake and exhaust vent.
- Never run water over the unit (if water gets inside may cause malfunction).
Error Messages:
E0: Check the pan is usable on this appliance.
E1: Check whether the Voltage is too low, should not be lower than 88V.
E2: Check whether the Voltage is too high, should not be higher than 280V. E3:
Check whether heat sensor has overheated or there is a short circuit. E4: Heat
sensor could have stopped working.
E5: Transistor has is over heated or there is a short circuit.
E6: Transistor could have stopped working.
