Attach
- Grab the Snap Bracket and place your thumbs on either side.
- Expand the bracket to the width of your laptop screen.
- Place the bracket over the back of the laptop screen.
- Slowly release, allowing the bracket to hug the edges and sit on top of your laptop screen.
- Release and extend the kickstand for extra support if needed. See page 9 for more details.
Plug: Dual-Screen
If your laptop has a USB-C port*:
- Remove the cable from the cable head holster on whichever side you are using.
- Plug the cable into your laptop.
- If this port is used to charge your laptop, plug your laptop charger into the pass-through charging port. See page 9 for more details.
*Some USB-C ports do not support display. If no display occurs, see details below on how to download the DisplayLink driver.
If your laptop does not have a USB-C port:
- Download the driver using the following link. www.thexebec.com/drivers
- Remove the cable from the cable head holster on whichever side you are using
- Plug one of the USB-A to C Adapters (included with the Snap Bracket) into the cable, and plug the USB-A end into your laptop’s USB-A port.
Plug: Tri-Screen
Follow the Dual-Screen instructions on page 5 for the first Snap Screen, and
repeat for the second Snap Screen.
If your laptop has two USB-C ports:
- Remove the second cable from the cable head holster.
- Plug the second cable into your laptop’s second USB-C port.
- Reminder, if this port is used to charge your laptop, plug your charger into the pass-through charging port. See page 9 for more details.
If your laptop has only one or no USB-C ports:
- Download the driver using the following link. www.thexebec.com/drivers
- Remove the second cable from the cable head holster.
- Plug one of the USB-A to C Adapters (included with the Snap Bracket) into the cable, and plug the USB-A end into your laptop’s USB-A port.
Snap
-
Rotate the wing(s) out from behind the Snap Bracket by placing your fingers under the wing and pulling.

Dual-Screen: Use the wing on the same side as the cable you used.

Tri-Screen: Use both wings.
-
Rotate the Snap Screen to your desired orientation (horizontal or vertical) and snap it onto the wing.

The X-shaped Xebec Snap Connection on the back of the Snap Screen will snap onto the front of the wing.

Reference pages 13-14 for all viewing options, including which Xebec Snap Connection to use for each configuration .

The Snap Screen(s) will then turn on automatically.

- To download and use the app, go to the following link and follow the instructions. www.thexebec.com/downloads
- Our display app allows you to configure your Snap Screen displays directly from your laptop’s menu bar instead of navigating through your display settings.
- With the display app, you can:
- Arrange your screen(s)
- Switch the screen orientation between landscape & portrait
- Select your preferred zoom level
- If you prefer to use your laptop’s native display settings, reference the PC and Mac instructions on pages 16-17 in the Appendix.
SNAP BRACKET FEATURES
Pass-Through Charging
- If the Snap Bracket takes up your laptop’s charging port, use the pass-through charging feature to charge your laptop.
- Plug your charger into one of the Snap Bracket’s pass-through charging ports, located on both sides of the bracket.
- If you’re only using one Snap Bracket wing, you must use the pass-through charging port on the same side.
Kickstand
To provide extra screen support, an extendable kickstand is built into the
back of your Snap Bracket.
- Press the button.
- Pull down the kickstand.
- Extend the foot to the desired length (optional).
- When you’re done, push the foot back in and lift the kickstand into the slot until you feel a click.
PACK UP & GO
Snap Bracket
Leave the Snap Bracket on or pack it separately, the choice is yours!
For the most convenient storage, simply pack up your laptop with the Snap
Bracket still on.
- Remove the Snap Screen(s).
- Rotate the wing(s) back into their original position.
- Unplug the cable(s) from your laptop & place them back into the cable head holsters.
- Close your laptop.
Tight on space? Pack it up separately.

Screen Arrangement
- Go to your Display Settings – (click Start> Settings> System > Display). The images below may differ depending on your operating system version.
- Ensure the “Extend … ” option is selected unless you intend to use presentation mode.
- Click “Identify” and a number will appear on each of your physical screens.
- Click and drag the numbered boxes to match the order in which the numbers appeared on your screens.
- Screens 3 and 2 may need to be swapped
If you’re using the Dual-Screen, only two boxes will appear
Screen Orientation
- Scroll down to the “Scale and layout” section.
- Select your desired zoom level.
- Select your desired orientation.
- For horizontal mode, select “Landscape”.
- For vertical mode, select “Portrait”.
- “Landscape {flipped)” or “Portrait {flipped)” may need to be selected based on your specific setup
DISPLAY SETTINGS [MAC]
Screen Arrangement

Go to your Displays Settings – (click System Settings> Displays) and click Arrange. The images below may differ depending on your operating system version.
Ensure “Extended display” is selected for the external displays. -
Click each external display icon and note on which of your physical screens a red frame appears.

Click and drag the external display icons so that they are on the same side as their associated screens with a red frame.

Ensure the white bar is on the display icon representing your laptop screen, and click & drag it there if not.

Click “Done”.
Screen Orientation
- Ensure “Extended display” is selected.
- For portrait mode, select 90 degree rotation for a left screen and 270 degree rotation for a right screen.
- Select your preferred zoom level from the resolutions, e.g., 1280 x 720. You may click the “Show all resolutions” toggle icon to view more options.

General Safety & Handling

Carefully review each step in this user manual as well as the on line documentation before setting up your Xebec Snap Screen. Use the provided cables and accessories as directed in this manual to avoid damaging the product. Using third party cables may cause damage to your laptop.

If any part is broken or damaged, do not attempt to fix yourself, as this
will void your warranty. Instead, please contact the retailer, or email us at contact@thexebec.com . Refer to the warranty on pages 20-21 for additional details. -
Store the Xebec Snap Screen in appropriate conditions, avoiding exposure to moisture, dust, and extreme heat or cold. Please use caution when storing the Xebec Snap Screen and avoid putting excessive amounts of pressure or weight on the product.

In the event that there is any liquid spilled on the Xebec Snap Screen, unplug all the cables immediately and dry the entire product off with a dry soft towel. Wait for it to dry entirely before using again. To avoid an electric shock, unplug all the cables before cleaning the screens. Only clean with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Choking Hazard
The Xebec Snap Screen and its accessories contain small parts that may present
a choking hazard. Please keep out of reach from small children.
FCC COMPLIANCE
This part complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions
- This device may not cause harmful interference
- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

This Limited Warranty gives You specific legal rights, and You may have other rights which vary from country to country or state to state. The Limited Warranty can also be found on line at www.thexebec.com.

We warrant that during the warranty period, the Product (defined as products sold by Xebec, limited to “Snap Screen”) will be free from defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship under normal use for the Warranty Period (as defined below), subject to conditions contained in this limited warranty. We do not warrant, and are not responsible for, any laptop or other device made by anyone other than Xebec, Inc. We limit the duration and remedies of all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the duration of this express limited warranty.

Who May Use This Warranty?
Xebec, Inc. (“We”, “Xebec” or “Us”) extend this limited warranty only to the consumer who originally purchased the Product (“You”) from us or a Xebec authorized dealer, unless otherwise prohibited by law. This Limited Warranty is extended only to the original end-use customer, and will not be extended to any other person or transferee. -
What Does This Warranty Cover?
This Limited Warranty covers any defects in manufacturing, material or workmanship in the Product under normal use for the Warranty Period, subject to conditions contained in this limited warranty. During the Warranty Period, We will repair or replace, at no charge, Products or parts of a Product that prove defective because of improper manufacturing, material or workmanship. -
How Long Does The Coverage Last?
The Warranty Period is 1 year from the original date of purchase of the Product. -
Sole and Exclusive Remedy; What Will We Do to Correct the Problem?
If a manufacturing, material or workmanship defect arises regarding any Product, and We receive a valid claim no later than fifteen (1 S) calendar days after the expiration of the Warranty Period, We will, at our sole option, provide one of the following remedies to satisfy a proper claim under this limited warranty: Repair or replace any defective or malfunctioning part at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts. Replace this product with a new Xebec Tri- Screen (the “Product”) at no charge. For purposes of this Limited Warranty, “refurbished” means a product or part that has been substantially returned to its original specifications. In the event of a defect, these are customer’s sole and exclusive remedies. -
Exclusions and Limitations; What Does the Warranty Not Cover?
- Except for the remedies expressly set forth above or to the extent restricted or prohibited by applicable law, the entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Products is with the customer, and the customer assumes the entire cost of repair should the Products prove defective following their purchase. In addition to and without limiting the generality of the foregoing disclaimers, this Limited Warranty does not, under any circumstances, cover any defects or damage due to: (a) transportation; (b)storage; (c) improper or unreasonable use or maintenance; (d) failure to follow the product instructions; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Product; (h) cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic or screen unless failure has occurred due to a defect in manufacturing, materials or workmanship; (i) damages caused by use with nonXebec products; or U) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control. If this product is returned to Xebec, Inc., this product must be insured during shipment, with the insurance and shipping charges prepaid by you. If this product is returned uninsured, you assume all risks of loss or damage during shipment.
- FOR CUSTOMERS WHO ARE COVERED BY AN APPLICABLE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW OR REGULATION IN THEIR STATE, PROVINCE, OR COUNTRY OF PURCHASE ORRESIDENCE, THE BENEFITS TO CUSTOMER UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE IN ADDITION TO OTHER RIGHTS AND REMEDIES OF CUSTOMER UNDER SUCH LAWS OR REGULATIONS. SUCH BENEFITS MAY INCLUDE ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES OR RIGHTS RELATING TO THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT AND REMEDIES APPLICABLE IN THE EVENT OF A DEFECT. PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM AND EXCLUDE ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT
LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT,

PRODUCT, INCLUDING,WITHOUT LIMITATION, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF VALUE OF THE
PRODUCTOR ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS THAT ARE USED IN OR WITH THE PRODUCT,OR
LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT OR ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS THAT ARE USED IN OR
WITH THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OFTHE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH

DEVICES OR OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY THAT ARE USED WITH THE PRODUCT,INCLUDING,
WITHOUT LIMITATION, LAPTOPS, OR OTHER HANDHELD DEVICES,OR ANY LOSS OF DATA

(INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE), THE ENTIRE AGGREGATELIABILITY OF XEBEC
AND ANY OF ITS DISTRIBUTORS AND/OR SUPPLIERS WILLBE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT
ACTUALLY PAID BY CUSTOMER FOR ANY PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY. SOME
STATES, PROVINCES, COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF

How Do You Obtain Service?
- You must email our Customer Service Department at contact@thexebec.com during the Warranty Period and provide:
- Your name
- Order number
- Brief written description of the problem
- In order to pursue any remedy under this Limited Warranty, you must possess an original, dated receipt as proof of purchase. This product should be properly packed, preferably in the original package, for shipping.
