Product Overview Thank you for using Bormann hand-held laser distance meter, please read the instruction carefully before operation. This product is a hand-held laser distance meter with super high ingress protection.
Main features: IP65 waterproof, drop-resistance and super long lifespan. 2- inch HD white- on-black display, which is easier for users to read at any time of the day or night. Works with rechargeable NI-MH batteries, which makes it more environment friendly and has longer life. Integrated electronic tilt sensor, making it easier to achieve horizontal alignment with the real-time measuring angle. Comprehensive measuring functions of Area, Volume, Pythagoras, Auto Level, Auto Height.

Measure Button
Activate the measuring mode, short press to measure, long press to Continuous measurement. -
Menu Button
Press to change measuring mode: Area/ Volume/ Pythagoras/Auto Level/Auto Height. -
Measuring Reference/Unit Button The Rear is the default Reference. Short press to change the Reference (Front/Tripod/ Rear) , Long press to change the measuring units (m/ ft/in/ft+in).

Memory Button Press to recall memory values.

Add(+) / Subtract(-) Button Under the mode of Distance, Area and Volume measurement, short press to add values, long press to subtract.

Mute Button Press to De-/activate the Beep.

Battery Installation and Instructions
The product uses rechargeable NI-MH batteries. Please use provided USB cable
while charging. The computer can also be used to charge, but this takes more
time
Warning: When use dry batteries, please DO NOT use USB to charge. DO NOT mix
rechargeable batteries with dry batteries at the same time to avoid accidents.
Any damage caused by Improper use of charging dry battery Is not covered by
the warranty, the manufacturer not be responsible for It.
- Not available on all models.
While charging, the device may heat up, this Is normal, and will not affect
the product performance and lifetime.
Please unplug the charger and take off the batteries when not In use.

The Maximum range shall be different according to different models. The actual range refers to the package.

Measuring Accuracy (”D” stands for measured distance) If measuring under favourable conditions, such as smooth surface, proper temperature and indoor lighting, the device is able to work within certain range as declared.
Maximum deviation occurs under unfavourable conditions such as bright sunlight or when measuring to poorly reflecting or very rough surfaces. -
Tilt Measurement Accuracy
0.1° is caused by temperature, D is +/- 0~45°, e.g.: at normal temperature the accuracy is +/-0.3° at angle of 0° , at abnormal temperature the accuracy is +/-0.85°
at angle of 45°.
Tips: In case of bright sunlight and bad reflection of the object, please use the target plate or reflector.
