IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

  1.  Read all instructions carefully before you use the appliance.
  2. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.   18. To disconnect, turn temperature control dial to MIN, then remove plug from wall outlet.

  21. Do not hang the cord on the table edge. Do not let the mains cord touch hot surface or hang down where a child could grab it.

USING THE APPLIANCE

  1. Remove all packing material and any stickers.
  2.  Wipe the product and accessories with a damp cloth or sponge to remove any dust. Wipe dry with a soft cloth or paper towels.
  3. Select a location where the appliance is to be used, leaving enough space between back of unit and wall to allow heat to flow without damage to cabinets and walls.
  4. Plug in a standard electrical socket, the power red indicator will turn on. You can clockwise rotate the temperature knob between MIN – HIGH. If the temperature knob is in MIN position, the plate will not be heating any more. For the first use it is better to apply some oil or grease to the hot pot or plate.
  5. . Important: The hot pot and cooking plate will be very hot. Caution should be taken to prevent the hands from contacting with them.
  6. To preserve the hot pot’s nonstick coating, always use nylon, plastic, wooden or rubber utensils.
  7. WARNING: NEVER cut food in the hot pot, or on the plate’s cooking surface.
  8.  After use, unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool to room temperature before cleaning.
  9. Caution: Do not immerse the appliance into any liquid. The appliance cannot be immersed!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Important : Unplug and allow it to cool before cleaning. Never immerse the machine in water or any other liquid.

  1. Wipe the body, pot, pan, steam cooker basket and lid with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive soap or dishwasher detergent. Wipe with a clean, soft, damp cloth and towel dry.
  2. Storage: Store the cleaned machine in a clean, dry place.
  3. Never store while it is still hot or still plugged in.
  4. Never use abrasive pads or alcohol.
  5. Important: Never wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance. Do not put any stress on the power cord where it enters the unit, as this could cause it to fray and break.
