Intercooler relocation brackets
Remove front bumper to access intercooler mounting bolts. Remove upper intercooler bolts ( QTY 2 )
And using a flat head pry out the aluminum washer insert in the plastic
shroud.
Then reinstall bolt hand tight.
Unbolt the front metal crash bar and you can loosen the opposite side so the bar is loose. You will need to install the intercooler bracket between the bar and the core support.
Trim the plastic shroud where it used to hold the intercooler in place. You can sand it smooth for better fitment as well. Now bolt the bracket in place with the Bumper support back over sandwiching it.
This is the TYPE B intercooler relocation that allows for even more clearance for bigger tires. Installation is same for both types.
Trimming of the intercooler shroud is necessary based on how much the intercooler is pulled forward. If you do not trim the shroud will come in contact with the bumper and you cannot get it back on.
Seen here installed on Cayenne 957 Turbo with aluminum intercoolers.
