W463 front and rear pan hard bar installation
Front bar installation is pretty straight forward. Remove both upper and lower 24mm pan hard bar nuts and bolts.
Set OEM bar side by side with Eurowise panhard bar and adjust close to stock as possible to make install and alignment easier.
Install new pan hard bar with the adjuster at the top.
REAR BAR
- Rear bar will require two people if possible. Remove lower fuel tank shield.
- Remove nut and 24 mm bolt on the lower panhard bar. Upper nut can be removed but the bolt cannot be removed without help of a friend. You will need to use two long pry bars. One will be used to pry the fuel tank skid plate bracket away to clear the bolt head. Using another pry bar the bolt can be pulled out at the same time. This is the quickest option. The long route would be to remove that lower skid plate completely.
- Set OEM bar side by side with Eurowise panhard bar and adjust close to stock as possible to make install and alignment easier.
