SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

WARNING

  • Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Some items may be packed in plastic bags, these bags could cause suffocation; keep away from children and pets
  • Do NOT allow small children to play with, in or around the pet leeder
  • To reduce the risk of injury, please keep close supervision when an appliance is used near children
  • Do NOT use the feeder with pets not able to reach the food tray or with any physical disability
  • Do NOT immerse the base part in water at any time as it may damage electronic components like the control pand
  • Do NOT place any foreign object in the pet leeder.
  • Do NOT use outdoors. Check operation frequently to be sure the unit is dispensing properly
  • Do NOT use wet, canned or moist food
  • Do NOT disassemble the unit other than as instructed in this User Guide.
  • Do NOT use the feeder for anything other than its intended use.
  • Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsated condition. Do not modify the pet feeder.
  • Do not operate any appliance if the unit is malfunctioning or has been damaged. Do not attempt repairs on the pet feeder yourself. Contact our customer service immediately for further instructions.
  • Always unplug when not in use and before denning.
  • Never pull on the electrical power cord to remove the plug from the wall outlet.
  • If the plug of this device gets wet, turn on electricity to that wall outlet. Do not attempt to unplug.
  • Examine the feeder after installation. Do not plug in if there is water on the power cord or plug.
  • To avoid tripping, always position power cord out of the way of foot traffic.

CAUTION

  • Do NOT allow pets to chew on or swallow any parts. If you are concerned about the power cord, purchase a cord conduit (a hard-plastic protector) at any hardware store to protect the power cord.
  • If an extension cord is necessary, one unit with a proper rating should be used.
  • Do NOT install or store the pet feeder where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below 4°C / 40°F.
  • Use alkaline D batteries to power. Do NOT use rechargeable batteries.
  • Check the batteries regularly. Before leaving for extended time, always replace batteries with new ones.
  • Do NOT lift the pet feeder by lid, food tank, or food tray. Lift and carry it using both hands and the base, while keeping the unit in an upright position.
  • Suitable for dry food ONLY, with kibble size ranging from 2-15mm/0.07-0.6in in diameter. Larger kibble may get stuck at the food outlet,
  • Do not put your fingers into the food outlet or let your fingers touch the rotor.
  • Read and observe all important notices listed on the pet feeder and in the packaging.

6-Button Navigation Quick Guide

Icon Description & Function Instructions
Recording Press and hold for 3s until a beep is heard to start recording.

A double beep can be heard after the recording completed, Repeat above to record a new meal call.
| Setting| Press and hold for 3s to unlock and enter the setting mode.
| Up| Press to increase value.
| Down| Press to decrease value. Double press to manually feed a portion.”
| Return/Cancel| Press to return to last step. Press to return to lock mode.
| Confirm/OK| Press to confirm the setting. Press OK button for és to turn off blue light. Note: Red light can’t be turned off
| Reset Setting +Confirm/OK| Press and hold the Setting and Confirm/OK at the same time for 3s until a beep.

Note:

  1. About 0.06cup/1tbsp/15ml per portion.
  2. Hold the Record Button during recording, release when finished.

HOW TO USE

Assembling Food Tray

  • Place the feeder in a desired location. Check the food tank is in place. Place the feeding tray into the feeder from the front.

Note:

  1. Please keep the food bucket and the pet food in a dry condition.
  2. Do NOT use canned, wet or moist pet food.
  3. Recommend kibble size ranging from 2-15mm / 0.07-0.6in in diameter.
  4. Before moving the feeder, please empty the tray, press it down to remove from the base. Hold the base instead of any other parts when lifting the feeder.

Set the Power
Set the Power

  • Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. Insert the Micro USB power cord into the connector on the bottom and extend the power cord out along the designed wire slot. Close the battery compartment. Turn on the power switch.
  • The LCD display will light up automatically indicating the feeder is on now.

Note :

  1. Battery NOT included.
  2. Before connecting to power, make sure all parts are clean and completely dry.
  3. You could also put in 3 pieces of D cell batteries, so that the feeder can still work according to your scheduled feeding plan even during outage.
  4. The battery level icon on the display blinks on a low battery level.

Set the Time

  • After factory reset, the time is not set which will not trigger any kind of feeding.
  • Please set the current time before setting up feeding plan,
  • Long press the Setting Button for 3 seconds, the Time Setting icon start to flash, which means it is in settings mode as shown in Fig1.
  • Press Confirm/OK Button to confirm to enter the time setting. The hour is flashing as Fig2. Use the Up/Down Buttons to set the hour (24H format) as shown in Fig3. You can long press the Up/Down Button for fast setting.
  • Press Confirm/OK Button to confirm the hour. Then the minute starts to flash, press the Up/Down Button for minute setting as shown in Fig4.
  • Then press Confirm/OK Button to save and return to setting mode. Press Return/Cancel Button to exit or go on to set up other items.

Note :

  1. All operations during the setup process can be returned or canceled via the Return/Cancel Button.

Manually Feeding Your Pet

In the standby state, you can quickly feed 1 portion by pressing down Button twice within 1 second.

To set “feed now” for multiple portions:

  • No recording will be played.

  • Long press Setting Button for 3 seconds to enter the setting mode.

  • Press Down Button to switch the flashing icon to the feeding one as shown in Fig5.

  • Press Confirm/OK Button to confirm and manual choose the feeding portions.

  • Use the Up/Down Button to choose, as shown in Fig6.
    Set the Time

  • Press Confirm/OK Button to start feeding. Meanwhile, the operation screen will display the exact remaining portions need to feed as shown in Fig7.

Set the Daily Feeding Plan

  • The feeder supports up to 6 meals per day.

  • After setting up the current time, press and hold Setting Button for 3 seconds to enter the feeding plan setting mode,

  • Press Down Button to switch the flashing icon to Digital 1 icon. As show in Fig8.

  • Press Confirm/OK Button to select the feeding portions, press Up/Down Button to set portions as shown in Fig9 and Fig10.

  • Press Confirm/OK Button to go to feeding time setting as shown in Fig11 and Fig12, Press Confirm/OK Button to save. Press Return/Cancel Button to exit and the auto feeding icon will show at standby state, as shown in Fig13.

  • If you need to set multiple meals, please repeat the above steps and select the corresponding Digital number icon according to the meals in the setting interface as shown in Fig14 and Fig15.

  • To cancel a certain meal, you can set the feeding portions to be 0. Then second feeding was cancelled as shown in Fig16 and Fig17.

Important Notes

  1. About portion. 0.06cup/1tbsp/15ml kibbles are dispersed each.
  2. A few kibbles may be left at the chute after feeding, and it may come out of the outlet when the machine is moved (doesn’t indicate a faulty equipment).
  3. Refer to the instructions on your pet food packaging for detailed feeding instruction.

Recording a Customized Meal Call

  • Press and hold the Record Button for 3 seconds until the feeder makes a “Beep” sound to start recording. After the recording is completed. The feeder will make a double “Beeps”.
  • After recording, you can preview the audio by short pressing the Record Button. Repeat above if need to re-do the recording. The closer to the microphone, the louder the voice can be recorded.
  • The default of voice recording playback is 3 times. It can be customized up to 5 times at the setting by taking the following steps:
  • Press and hold the Setting Button for 3 seconds to enter the setting mode
  • Select the Down Button to switch the flashing icon to Record Button as shown in Fig18.
  • Press Confirm/OK Button to confirm play times of recording playback by using the Up/Down Buttons as shown in Fig19. Press Confirm/OK Button to save.

Note :

  1. The recording Button should be pressed during the recording.
  2. The maximum record time is 10 seconds.
  3. To cancel the feeding recording, set the number of playback to 0.
  4. Despite power source, the number of times the recording played will be as set. If the food outlet is blocked, the recording will be played every minute within a 10-minute interval.

System Alarms

  • When the battery is low, the screen will display a low battery signal as shown in Fig20.
  • When the food is insufficient, the screen will display the low food storage as shown in Fig21
  • When these two cases happened together, the red light on the indicator will stay on.
  • After renewing the battery or re-fill food, the red Indicators and screen icons will disappear automatically within 60 seconds.

The colour of the light remains the same under normal feeding After feeding is done, if a problem is detected (ie. Low battery, low food supply or food outlet fails to rotate), red light will be on after 2s.

Power Supply by Batteries (Power Saving Mode):

  1. Blue light is off during standby mode and when feeder is normal.
  2. When problems rise when the machine is under sleep mode, red light will light up in about a minute.
  3. When the problem is solved, the red light will be off in about a minute.

Reset

In the standby state, press and hold the Setting Button and Confirm/OK Button at the sarne time for 3 seconds until the feeder makes a short beep. You can reset the feeder to factory default.

Cleaning & Care

It’s recommended to clean the feeder regularly for the health of your pet.

The washable parts of the Petlibro auto feeder are as follows: food tank and food tray, they can be submerged in water. Clean by hand-washing using cool or warm soapy water.

Dissembling the food tank

  • If you have food inside the tank or chute, double press the Down Button and repeat for a few times to empty first.
  • Push the tank upward to disassemble.

Empty the tray, pull it to remove from the base.

Note: Rinse and let all parts air dry completely before assembling

I can’t press any Buttons Please press and hold the Setting Button for 3s to

enter the setting mode
I can’t remember the meal settings| Unlock the screen, press the Set Button and you can see the meal number shown, enter each meal, you can review all the meal time and portion setting.
The food won’t come out|

  1. Please be sure to fill in with dry food; kibble size should range from 2-15mm/0.07-0.6in in diameter.
  2. Check whether any foreign objects are placed, disassemble the food tank and check the chute. Also check the food outlet.
  3. Check whether it’s low battery level- whether the power adapter is connected or there is any outage when no battery is installed.

LCD display is off|

  1. Please press and hold the Setting Button for 3s to unlock the screen.
  2. Check whether the power adapter is connected.
  3. Contact the support team at [email protected] if the display still won’t light up when the appliance is well connected to power
