Product Usage Instructions

Installation Recommendations:
Please read this manual in its entirety prior to installation.

1. IMPORTANT: The RF Driver and Power Supply should be protected from rain and snow if installed outdoors. They must be placed in a waterproof electrical enclosure.
2. IMPORTANT: When installing inside a sauna, maintain a minimum distance of 20 from the heat source and a maximum height of 20 off the floor or in the path of a fan.
3. IMPORTANT: Consider light placement carefully to avoid direct contact with bathers’ eyes.

Step-by-Step Installation:

1. STEP 1: Mount RF Driver / Receiver
   Using 2 screws, mount the RF driver to the desired surface in a dry and accessible location for service.

2. STEP 2: Connect 4-Pin 4-Way Cable
   Locate the 4-Pin 4-way cable and connect one end to the 2-Pin Pigtail of the Driver. Route the other end to the light location.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

• Q: Can the LED Lightbar be dimmed using the remote?
  A: Yes, you can dim the LED Lightbar using the remote control. Simply hold the dim button to adjust the brightness.

• Q: How do I program the RF Driver and Dimming Remote?
  A: The RF Driver is preprogrammed, but if needed, follow the steps provided in the manual. Press and hold the Match button until the Run Indicator light changes to white, then follow the subsequent steps.

Installation Recommendations

• IMPORTANT: The RF Driver and Power Supply may be installed outdoors but must be protected from rain and snow. RF Driver and Power Supply should be installed in a waterproof electrical enclosure.
• IMPORTANT: When installing the RF Driver and Power Supply inside the sauna, maintain a minimum distance of 20” from heat source and a maximum height of 20” off floor or in path of fan.
• IMPORTANT: If installed inside the sauna, the RF Control must not exceed 131°F. Control should be no more than 3′ off the floor and away from heater. Test temperature reading of location before mounting.
• IMPORTANT: Consider light placement carefully. Each fixture should be placed to avoid direct contact with the bathers eyes.
• IMPORTANT: LED Light Bar max operating temperature is 195°F, installing LED light bar in location where temperature will exceed 195°F may cause light failure.

Electrical Requirements

• A 120V AC electrical outlet is needed to power the lighting system.
• Your electrician will determine the type of electrical outlet, box, and piping to be used.
• All wiring must be done in accordance with national electric code and local building codes by a certified electrician.
• Improper voltage or connections will damage the components and void warranty.

STEP 1.
Mount RF Driver / Receiver
Using 2 screws mount RF driver to desired surface. Driver should be mounted in a dry accessible location for service.

STEP 2.
Connect 4-Pin 4-Way Cable
Locate 4-Pin 4-way cable and connect single end to 2-Pin Pigtail of Driver. Route other end to light location

STEP 3.
Install Mounting Brackets & LED Light Bar
Determine the location where LED light will be installed. Screw Mounting Clips to surface ensuring even coverage of light fixture. Carefully snap LED light bar into each clip.
Installation shown in images below using stationary clips.
STEP 4.
Connect 2-Pin 30’ Cable to Light Bar
Connect light cable end to lead off light bar.

Note: Repeat this step if installing more than one light.

STEP 5.
Install Power Supply
Connect AC power cord cable to power supply block. Place power supply near RF driver. Connect DC cable end from power supply and connect into RF driver DC IN port.

STEP 7.
RGB Control Installation
RF Remote includes a wall mount holder for storing. Take holder and separate back mounting plate from holder. At mounting location screw mount-ing plate to surface. Slide holder from top down onto mounting the plate.

STEP 8. Startup & Testing

• Verify that all connections are secure and complete before proceeding.
• Ensure DC-out end of Power Supply is plugged into DC-in of the Driver.
• Plug AC power cable from the Power Supply into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
• Verify that the Driver powers on. The indicator light will flash purple rapidly for approximately 20 seconds.

STEP 9.
RF Driver & Dimming Remote Programming
Note: RF Driver is preprogrammed. Follow steps below if programming is needed.

1. Press and hold the Match button until the Run Indicator light changes to white. Note: The Run indicator will turn off, then rapidly flash purple. White run indicator will be after Blue.
2. Release the Match button, then short press once to save programming.
3. Grab remote then on Driver press match button once then quickly press the power button on remote.
   Note : If you encounter any issues during startup and testing proceed to troubleshooting steps.

Control Operation
Follow the steps below for control operation. After 30 seconds of inactivity, the remote will enter sleep mode. To wake up the control, press any button.

Wi-Fi Setup

On IOS or Android download the Tuya Smart App

To set up Wi-Fi operation follow the steps below
Note: Wi-Fi Driver supports 802.11 b / g / n 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi standard. The Wi-Fi Driver

1. Step 1 Open Tuya app and press Sign Up to create  an account
2. Step 2 Enter an email address to register an account
3. Step 3 Check email and enter verification  code
4. Step 4 Create a password 
5. Step 5 Main screen press Add Device
6. Step 6 Press Add next to Discovering  Devices
7. Step 7 Select your Wi-Fi network
8. Step 9 Device added successfully, press done to complete setup

Troubleshooting

No Power

• Verify that the electrical outlet has voltage.
• Check that connections on Power Supply are securely connected.
• Check that the DC barrel plug on the Power Supply is securely connected.

Power but light’s not turning on

• Check that the Pigtail cable from the Driver is securely connected and that wiring is correct (see step #1).

• Check that 4-way light cable is secure and connected.

• Check that all 30’ cables to lights are securely connected.

• Verify each light functions by testing them directly to the Driver independently.
  Note : To test individual light, disconnect 4-way light cable and connect 30’ cable directly to Pigtail lead off Driver, or connect light directly Pigtail.

• Verify that RF Remote is paired with Driver, see page #7.

Lights on no function from Control

• Verify battery is inserted correctly.
• Low battery, replace with new battery.
• Check DC power cable from Driver to Control is securely connected.
• Ensure that the distance from the Remote to the Driver is not more than 98 feet. If so, relocate Driver closer to room.

Resetting Driver
The Driver should not need to be reset in normal conditions. If a reset is needed, follow the steps below.
